Slightly OT, but last night I went to Casino Royale Secret Cinema in London. For those who don't know it is where they bring the film to life through real staging and sets etc. But the best part about it, your phone gets put in a pouch, and a magnet seals it, and you can not access it from 6pm to midnight. It was insane! I loved every minute of it. Nobody can take pictures of the sets, everyone has to watch and talk to each other about what they are seeing. Nobody holding phones up watching things through a screen. I lost the other half at one point, and I had to go to a bar, get a drink and talk to someone else (who as it happened had lost who they were with). It was amazing. It has been years since that has happened to me, as usually you just text "where are you"! 6 whole hours with no phone, no outside World distractions. I really just wish one of the big parties in Ibiza would give this a go.... Go on somebody... Please save us...

They had these at the boiler room stage at Fly festival in Edinburgh. We never went to it because the queue’s were insane, but it seemed to get a good reception.

Yesterday, at Resistance, it was so obvious that a bouncer came to my GF (who is 10 years younger then me) to make sure my dancing ways were not unwanted... She ad to kiss me to make him understand everything was alright...

About the only thing that has made me uncomfortable on ibiza dancefloors over the past 13years is sleazebags really pestering girls on the dance floor to the point were it's borderline harassment. Iv seen numerous times people having to step in and tell the guys to stop and a few times girls have asked to pretend they are with me to make the creeps go away aha.
 
Great Pyramid tonight! I have to work so I leaved at 4, but what a set by arpiar. Villalobos was announced to play with them at 00:30 but made his appearance two hours later.
 
One place that wasn't very busy last night was IDOL at Eden where Orbital were playing. I went briefly after Harvey to see the last hour of their set. Musically, it was going well despite the thin numbers on the dance floor. But then they obviously thought "f*** it" and played this:

unless they really were taking the piss, that's probably the Belinda Carlisle sample in 'Halcyon' - they've been playing it live for years... was there a bit of Bon Jovi in there too?
