Not sure why we are only taking about female dj’s there are plenty of male social media whores that can’t mix. Nina drops the odd mix yeah but when you mix vinyl you can’t immediately see the BPM all lit up for you on a screen and she takes risks with her selections. All the dj’s mentioned so far are talented.

I really don't see the 'discrimination' anymore for female djs that's mentioned a lot. If anything I see them being given better opportunities quicker in recent years, such as amiellia lens and cdw mentioned above etc.
Maybe it's because iv genuinely never looked at any dj (or in any job) and thought aw naw it's a male/female/white/black etc person.

Musically Pyramid was great last night - right up my street. Spent 90% of my time on the terrace. The club room was getting full when I arrived and was still decent when I left just before 0600.
Terrace was quieter - maybe a third to half full. Some phenomenal music from Mind Against (actually preferring them to TOU nowadays). Maceo played a lot of his tracks from down the years and of course Blade Runner got the biggest reaction of the night.
Funny incident on the night bus on the way there. A guy standing next to me - American or Canadian - was already very wavy. He was swaying all over the place and really struggle to check his phone. His friend assured him that it "wasn't far to go" just after we passed Can Tomas. Anyway, the intox guy presses the stop button and practically leaps off bus in the middle of nowhere (before the tunnel). His mate notices just as the doors shut and bus pulls away, screaming "NOOOOOOooooooooo" in proper Hollywood slow-mo. In panic he grabs the break glass hammer, takes one look at the window, one look at the hammer, thinks about it... thinks twice... and it's then wrestled off him by some Spaniards. He gets off at Underground and takes the dejected walk back to get his mate. The Spanish pissed themselves, mocked his "noooooooooo" the rest of the way to Amnesia. Hope they were both okay.

Amazing that is someone's first thought after a friend hops off the bus. Commit a ridiculous crime so the bus will stop as if he's going to be able to just go grab his friend and then hop back on after smashing a window lol. The thought process of some people man.

So i just noticed that Volvox was on the Circoloco lineup yesterday and Umfang is on the lineup this upcoming week. Good for them as they are both staples in the Ny techno scene and flag bearers for leading techno ladies. Dont know if anyone caught Volvox yesterday but she always plays some great sets especially in the late night/early morning hours.

some french i made connection at sven destino (we were at if u know u know last year benimussa park & elrow ibiza rocks where he halt me) told me he couldnt barely move along the black madonna set
i told him, in terrace u have to be 6-7 people in order to secure dancefloor there, they were only 3 blokes
its crazy how terrace is empty & cold when any dj play in the garden and when garden shut by 10mn its getting hot & rammy

catching her for the first time at ADE in october with DVS 1, dettmann & oscar mulero and honestly am not sure how does she fit the style of music of the three
