ElRow and Cocoon are not remotely comparable so not too sure what your point is. Objecting to people having a debate in public forums? (which is why er the ancient greeks invented them...) ElRow is obviously not aimed at proper clubbers. The music is an afterthought. Which is not to say it isn't fun, because it DOES look like fun. If I was 17 again I'd probably have a wild old time trying to chat someone up on a podium whilst dressed as a palm tree. But there the appeal probably ends.
 
The one thing I will say about elrow is it seems there home in Barca is a much better party where they sometimes have much better djs!

you are always like "everybody takes drugs but me" while so many on this forum (like me) are actually not taking drugs at cocoon or afterlife, just like you.
 
it's obviously subjective - but for me, the real music people are the ones who have given their lives to music and have created communities around music and have lost their nervous systems to music

I was not comparing parties as obviously they are total different with different music! But to say el Row is not aimed at proper clubbers, who are you to be the judge of what a proper clubber is or not! Lots of people like el Row does not mean they less of a clubber or know less about music
 
Elrow used to be seen as all right by most folk just a few years back, did it not? (I wasn't too impressed the one time I went, but maybe I just wasn't in the mood.) Has there been a backlash or has opinion always been split?

I'm not taking snidey comments though after supporting real parties for the last 25+ years of my life.

and I don't think it is that arrogant to gently suggest that that does give me some perspective...
