If you're using the iodine, you'll really need to get neutralising tablets as well to mask the taste of iodine.
You can buy both of these in Blacks (or similar outdoor stores) for about £8 in total for both. This will give you about 50 of the iodine tablets and 75 of the iodine tablets. Remember though, that the tablets are to treat one litre or so of water so you'll probably want to at least break them in half or even third them. The bottles and pills are tiny so you can easilly take them in without security asking any questions.
I have tried drinking the tap water myself in protest of the 8 euro prices for a tiny bottle and I was nearly sick. It tastes far too salty, probably because my body isn't used to that mineral content and I personally didn't get used to it throughout the two weeks.
