.. I realise its going to be an expensive trip.. but you can`t go out clubbing, especially if you are indulging.. adn only have a couple bottls of water. I`ve never been to places where you can`t refill.. and drinking out of the taps are dodgy..
If you`re out clubbing for 8 hours or more.. say one water bottle per hour, you`ll spend more on water than on your entrance fee? Are they those tiny little bottles of water?
which oculd be more than 100 Canadian $$ per night/day out!!!
looks like I will have to set aside about 500 or 600 dollars of mybudget on water!!! Ive read you can only leave the clubs once 8if that?!)

what do you do?

I'm not sure why people say you can't refill your water bottles.

I refilled them at the bathrooms of Space, Amnesia and Pacha and all of them had drinkable tap water.

I don't see the problem.

The tap water tastes absolutely disgusting. I have a strong stomach but it just made me feel ill.

You end up rationing it a bit and don't drink anywhere near as much as you should do.

Me and the Mates take turns at buying water and share it this means if there is about 6 of us you only buy about 2 bottles each all night...if you buy your own it gos warm to quick

tap water effects some people but not all - i can manage on it but if not take sips. For example Deja Vu (dnb & ol skool nite) i bought 2 bottles and that lasted me for bout 5 hours of decent dancing.

each to your own tho - everyone find s a way of managing.

Whats water like in Oz though? I'm tempted to funk it and just drink out the taps but really don't wanna get ill.

Have always bought water previously. The worst is Pacha for beer you put it down then some twat nicks it!!

I've just thought as well, surely there are tablets or something you can buy to put in the water to purify it?? I'm sure I've seen something like that anyway!! :?

Water purification tablets / drops. You can buy them at any good outdoor / camping supplies shop, ie Field and trek on Baker Street London.

i thought you needed to boil the water as well when you are using purification tablets? and could you even get them past the doormen?

Easy get past doormen. Does anyone know if you need to boil the water though, cos that would put that idea right out of the window. :x

Right - just spoke to an advisor at Field and Trek and what you want are Iodine drops. They cost about £4 and are perfect for dodgy tapwater. Only problem is it does taste a bit ruff but you can also buy Neutraliser which gets rid of the taste. The drops are in a bottle like you get for ear drops.

Sounds like a good plan

BUT it say that it can make up to a good couple of hundred litres, therefore it might be too strong if you put a drop into a 330ml bottle of water.

Will look into it though.

You use 3 drops for 1 litre.
therefore 1 drop = 330ml bottle. EASY!!!

Sounds like an ace idea but think it will be far to much hassle with neutraliser (how much would that be anyway?) as well. I take it the Iodine will be colourless. Would look a bit dodgy walkin round with a bottle of purple liquid or something!!!!

Oh and don't they put salt through the taps anyway??

Nice one!

As for looking dodgy, I suppose you see people with bottle of poppers!
