Brave man! They are nice. Last of the Mercs to have completely indestructable build quality. When they first came out in 1990ish and my old man worked at Merc he got me a ride in one (500sl) on a track from a Merc test driver who proceeded to thrap the absolute hell out of it

Cheek It's Paul that pushes me to drive it, I wasn't really confident, but after him insisting, I'm fine with driving it now. He is a brave man erally isn't he

Sounds fun to be driven round by a merc test driver I would love that 8)

I only really use mine on short journeys (to work and back) as it only does around 18MPG

It's an amazing ride on long journeys but costs ££££££'s in fuel.

I move around in my little motorbike and my motorbike consumes same fuel than a lighter

Seriously, I spend 5€ every 150km, it's a small motorbike (50cc) but injection

i drive to work (250miles p/w) via back roads. (average about 40mpg)

if i get stuck in traffic on the main rds it goes down to nearer 30mpg.
