Handing my notice in

Simply be nice and thank them for the opportunity and make it as painless as possible. Unless you've got a serious axe to grind I wouldn't bother complaining about anything. Just be gracious and tell them you have definitely made your mind up and have thought about it for a long time.

remember to have your notice in writing to hand to them!

Good luck.

I dream about doint that every monday morning, comming into the office, finding out that ive won the lottery on the saturday, then walking straight back out again....still waiting after three years of trying.

have you got a new job to go to or are you just fed up????

got a new job more money less hours etc etc! There is a bit of sales involved though which i'm not happy about!

Just tried to do it but my boss has told me to think about it!! ARGH!!!

Don't let them talk you into it Jessy, if you've made your mind up leave, bosses always try and make you feel guilty but there was obviously a reason you wanted to leave in the first place so stick to your guns ;)

I'm so flipping weak! I wish I could be stronger!

I feel like handing my notice in today and i LOVE my job usually!!!!!

They would only laugh at me if I tried anyway....

so my boss has offered me a grand at the end of the year and help with driving lessons if i stay on. I've got to give him my decision today! Eek still haven't the foggiest what to do!

At the end of the day you haven't been happy in your job for a while tho have you Jessy. Will a grand and help with driving lessons make all the difference to you and outweigh all the negatives of the job?? What does the new job offer you that this one doesn't, do you think the new one will make you happy??

It is scary making the leap especially if you're quite comfortable where you are and there is the risk of the grass isn't always greener on the other side........but then if you don't try these things you'll never know and you might spent the next few months regretting that you've passed on what could be your ideal job.

Exactly! I think I know what I have to do!

I'm a big believer in going with your gut feeling and you've been wanting to get out for ages and this could be just the lucky break that you were after ;) And if after a few months you don't like the new job/it's not for you then what's to say you can't move on to something else, better to have tried something to have failed than not to have tried at all ;)
