Handing my notice in

I know deep down that I wouldn't be happy in a few weeks if I stayed here - its no good staying in a job if you just like the people!

Exactly, you can still see these people out of work even if you don't work with them and think of all the new people there might be at your new work to talk shoes and hair to :lol: ;)
 
Hopefully! I can always try and convert them hey! :D The girl that was doing the job before had been to university and everything so it makes me feel a bit cleverer that they chose me! :D

I've got nothing to lose really! Wish me luck!

And if they don't let me use the internet I can always use my phone to catch up on here! :D

Oh and ps I've worked in loads of places and touch wood I've never had internet restrictions, 99% of jobs these days need the internet so I'm sure you'll be fine ;)
 
The saga continues.....

My boss (wo never does his own typing) has taken the time out to write a list of extra responsibilities for me if I stay!

I just want to go!! But can't bring myself to say it! I've had a permanent headache for 5 days now! :evil:

take a two week holiday, email, click, send, job done ;)

I handed my notice in on Tuesday, and I leave today. You just have to stand your ground and say that you wanna go. They tried a few tactics with me on tuesday to try and persuade me to stay, but I had made my mind up! Plus I leave to day but get paid til the end of the month, its the best feeling ever! :)

How did you manage that? I have to work a blimmin month alough I do still have 5 days holiday owing to me!!! :evil:
