incredible innit? i didn't think i'd have anything in common with a single one of you (generation gap'n'all that) but believe it or not i do. and it gets weirder because it's olly!

i just love cadaques and i want it to have my babies. it's just the coolest place ever - i'd live there if it wasn't for the hair raising drive when you need a pint of milk or a takeaway from the outside world.

as a student, I used to get the train across the border quite a bit - interailing or visiting family and we would explore that whole area - Figueres, Olot, Cadaques, Roses, L'Escala - gorgeous - fully plan on spending more time there if/when I ever get my arse in gear and move back to Barcelona.

Used to with the old beetle we had, but the one we have now is a newbie so no, not really (unless the driver is a hawt laydeee :lol: )

It was a chopped GT beetle (hence no visible roof), so good for 90 odd on the motorway. Fully strengthened down the sills and across the front and rear bulkheads. Fibreglass wings, remote door opening, twin carbs and short shift kit. Lowered until the front beam almost touched the ground...

Yep, I miss it :cry::lol:
