'Only' a 1k capacity though so not too hard to fill but yeh could do with at least a teaser on the genre before you arrive and find its unexpectedly a happy hard-core night 🙃

it appears there is a link to WHP though so they won't be booking anyone that WHP don't want them to.....

WHP tend to book artists with an exclusivity period around their WHP shows so this is a problem for all Manchester promoters. I hadn’t seen any mention of WHP involvement but if there is it might make it easier to book those artists, especially if unannounced?

Fwiw I’ve seen posts from Guy Williams suggesting he will play at some point

Seeing a few events off tomorrow night due to expected storm winds, such as Blackstone Warehouse in Liverpool and also Leeds Xmas Market.

Thought it was odd they had him playing room 2...but I guess originally it was him and Ron Trent up against each other and would have been more of a spread in terms of crowd between the 2 rooms?

ahh nightmare. We timed our move into room 2 well at about 1:30. Before the 1 in 1 out, he then couldn’t get back in for over an hour!

fortunately I didn’t find myself needing a toilet …

We did say that we suppose this is the negative of a regimented capacity management , almost a complete flip of what we see regularly in Ibiza

I got told by someone on the night (so take with a pinch of salt) that apparently he requested room 2 , due to it being more open?

I was sceptical but these Ambers lineups have been great so far, will check it out in the new year

Last night had Call Super, Pangaea, Amaliah and more, right up my street

They’ve also had Orla, Niks, Dan Shake in recent weeks.
 
Sven is back for one date in his club , formerly known as cocoon. Its a off location today , nothing to do with him ( as I know ).
