Early 90s. Created a bit of controversy along with Reservoir Dogs at the time for a rape scene, drug-taking, etc. It's grubby but also a bit dull imo. Judging by some of your opinions in this thread, I'm not sure it would be up your street.

For Abel Ferrara, it has to be King of New York. 8)
 
The human centipede was on TV this week :lol:. I watched it but felt that the shock value is removed if you've seen the trailer

Ive heard manier things about this film, yet never even seen a trailer about it or know what the film could be about lol. Id did however see a fb status the other day saying its a must watch film....why am i getting the impression it a bit of a dodgy film :eek: thus meaning worth a watch :lol:

Think its along the same chain as Saw - as in gore, torture etc

No, it's not. It's about (and I don't think I'm giving anything away) about a mad doctor who stitches a bunch of people together, mouth to anus, thus forming the titular human centipede. Though the premise sounds pretty sick, it's supposedly quite a tame film.

Did I read they're making a sequel in which they hope to put in more surgery/gore?

Hmmmm might be worth a watch, i do like these hard hitting kinda films, just depends how oldey styley it is :lol:

Oh bloody hell, in that case i might give that one a miss :eek: although again it does leave me slightly intrigued...

Which reminds me also, i showed a few friends that 'scene' from irreversible and we were all like this :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
