Films....

I saw... saw for the first time this weekend.
Was well impressed by it :)

Is there any point watching the other 6? I heard they are all awful.

Pacino is a great actor enjoy his films. Insomnia is a good one. I watch from dusk till dawn good DVD date movie.;)

I have to say I hate the Saw films - made the mistake of going to see Saw 3 at cinema, had to run out in first 10 mins as I felt faint and sick - not even an overeaction either - gore and torture films just dont do it for me :lol:

ONLY just seen it  where have you been for the past, however many years they have been about  lol

tbh they have done soooo many i cant keep up with them, but i am preety sure that i have seen all of them, including the last one which was in 3D at the cinema to which i near projectile vomitted

I just love the pyschologically and cleverness of the films, defo some sick f**k thinking of these things

I've only seen Saw 1 and 3 and thought they were both terrible. Gimme Hostel 1 + 2 for torture porn anyday. Try out the French horror flick Martyrs if you want something proper gruelling with pretensions.

You're right, the first one is good the other 6 are awful and there has been so many retrospective plot twists it's ridiculous.

Irreversible is a properly disturbing film, watched it once and wouldn't want tosee it again.

Never really been in to the whole horror / gore film, but it's grown on me in the last couple of years, so am finally getting round to watching films that I missed.

Any other suggestions?

Not quite in the same vein as Saw and Hostel

Very good film. Very depressing as well. Difficult to watch the scene but also some of the other parts due to the camera work. But you couldn't come away from that film without a bit of despair in your heart.

I agree it made me feel quite down for a while and by that "scene" i presume you mean the one in the underpass halfway through, but i found the scene at the beginning in that club almost as disturbing.
