Films....

I watched Usual suspects and From Dusk to dawn again great films, Also watched Adjustment bureau it was ok more of a date film

Watched 'shoestring budget' horror film Blood River over the weekend. Actually remarkably good - I'd recommend it.

Anyone seen Bridesmaids at the cinema yet - heard differing reports about this one?

I have watched a woman giving birth 3 times twice for my son and once by accident this lady started to down load in the park with no one else around. I called the medic and they got there just after the head came out. It was terrifying ny shirt was soaked with sweat and I did not even know it. The mother and baby ended up fine thanks to the medics, all I did was say breath push. Note to self avoid pregnant ladies outside of a hospital.

Similarly, I once saw a woman staggering down the road and stopped the car to find she was going into a labour. My mate who was I driving because he was having a very bad time on mushrooms, was unsure whether the screaming stranger was really in the car with us!

Spit my tea out:lol::lol::lol: We have to hang out sometime sans nap;)

Saw Ratko Mladic try to make a mockery of his war crimes trial in the Hague today on the news.

Inspired me to watch an old film (which I think is extremely good) called "Saviour"

Directed by a Serbian and based around the conflict in the Balkansduring the 90's (with the majority of the cast being either Bosnian, Croat or Serbian) it is American produced and stars (bizarrely) Dennis Quaid.

It's one of the very few films which have succeeded in making me cry - non of the characters are very likeable, there are certainly no heros and it's all very depressing.

Definitely the most anti-war film I've seen (and certainly more than than the usual suspects such as Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Apocolpyse Now etc)

I think it's quite hard to get hold of these days, but if you do see a copy (or see it advertised on cable/satelite) give it a go. I'm pretty sure you won't regret it.

If you do get the chance, let me know what you think.

Back onto film....The Prestige! Watched last night. A little slow in places, but a treat overall8)

Horrible bosses was good also think Machete will be a cult classic. It has gore but over the top gore like from dusk till dawn

This weekend:

Iron Man 2 - mildly entertaining and bizzarely, Gywneth Paltrow is noticeably hot in it, even alongside Scarlett Johannson!

300- had half watched on a flight before. Very watchable.

Anuvahood - bit disappointing. Not much of a plot. Street slang novelty value wears off pretty quick and then there's not much else to recommend.
