Films....

what is this film ?! 8)

It's about an Italian hitman who takes in an orphaned girl after her drug dealer family are executed by a corrupt government official.

It a revenge story pretty much, but there is also this brooding relationship between the two that borders on the inappropriate.

It's the film which Natalie Portman of Black Swan fame made her name.

One might have to invest in this on dvd then 8)

Im guessing its a fairly recent film ?!

Tree of Life ... possibly the most beautiful film I've ever seen.

(granted, I love Terrence Malick...) - just don't go expecting a brad pitt/penn/etc. film - its bigger/better than that.

'Cave of Forgotten Dreams' was brilliant as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZFP5HfJPTY

As far as summer flicks...

I thoroughly enjoyed 'X-Men, First Class' (but it is a bit graphic for younger children, kids were screaming/crying all over at the afternoon screening I was at in Brooklyn...)

'Super 8' is a blast, perfect summer/escapist movie (imo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpzUCA5i6zY

Kinda looking forward to this:
'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8D2NIGEJW8

Right so the first part of St Trinians went down 'ok' but then after all the school frolics, then film gets boring so turned it off and stuck on Lee Evans live in Scotland 1998, what a ledge....the BF and I were in stitches :D

Also mentioned to him about this Leon film to which he was like 'omg ive got it on dvd, havent u seen it'...'well funnily enough darling no i havent hence why im asking about it' so come saturday i should have watched it....

I saw the trailer for this when I saw Hangover 2 - looks very exciting! (I havent seen any of the Planet of the Apes but this looked good)

Saw "Watchmen" last night and loved it.The opening scene where nat king cole's unforgetable plays while a fight scene is played out is bizarre and carla gugino is a absolute goddess.
