Have you ever noticed how you never see russell brand and nigella lawson at the same time?
I need to see Leon - its at home and I keep meaning to. Everyone I know LOVES it.
Are you serious? Russell Brand? The man is a criminal waste of skin. Have you ever noticed how you never see russell brand and nigella lawson at the same time?
what is this film ?! 8)
It's about an Italian hitman who takes in an orphaned girl after her drug dealer family are executed by a corrupt government official.
It a revenge story pretty much, but there is also this brooding relationship between the two that borders on the inappropriate.
It's the film which Natalie Portman of Black Swan fame made her name.
One might have to invest in this on dvd then 8)
Im guessing its a fairly recent film ?!
I wanna say 1994... but could be wrong.
Anyway, she was about 12 when she starred in it
I may have to check out Leon also.
Think it was just called "the professional" stateside. Great movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110413/
Saw Priest the other day and quite liked it, source code is also quite good.
Tree of Life ... possibly the most beautiful film I've ever seen.

(granted, I love Terrence Malick...) - just don't go expecting a brad pitt/penn/etc. film - its bigger/better than that.
'Cave of Forgotten Dreams' was brilliant as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZFP5HfJPTY
As far as summer flicks...
I thoroughly enjoyed 'X-Men, First Class' (but it is a bit graphic for younger children, kids were screaming/crying all over at the afternoon screening I was at in Brooklyn...)
'Super 8' is a blast, perfect summer/escapist movie (imo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpzUCA5i6zY
Kinda looking forward to this:
'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8D2NIGEJW8
Saw "Watchmen" last night and loved it.The opening scene where nat king cole's unforgetable plays while a fight scene is played out is bizarre and carla gugino is a absolute goddess.

Compared to the book it's an absolute travesty.
