Filling up the kettle from the hot tap

Did anyone else know that your not supposted to use the water from the hot tap to fill up the kettle??

I only found out that today , apparntly it comes from the tank and probably filled with all sorts of shit

yep - straight form the mains. the water in the tank for the hot water can be a bit manky but the fact that you'r boiling it it should be grand....should be
