shanti shakti in figueretas is open every day except on sundays. angel cielo (el ayoun) is djing there every wednesday from 9pm on the ladies night (which includes a special 14€ menu for the ladies) :!:

Our good friends Craig and Navine from the "famous" Cardamom Club Indian restaurant in Sta Eulalia are expanding their "empire". At the end of November they are opening The Cardamom Café in Calle San Vincente (better known as Restaurant Street), where there will be a chance for you to sample food from all around the world. Opening from 10am to 10pm daily, you will be able to sit in the relaxed atmosphere of the café, or if you prefer, eat "al fresco" while you watch the world go by. The menu -changing daily- will offer you such delights as Boeuf Bourguignon, green Thai curry, a selection of specialty sandwiches, sabbatta, panninis and soups. The Cardamom Café will also be a delicatessen offering a wide range of meats and cheeses, home made food, sweets, and meals that can be taken home and frozen until needed. As Craig said "there is now no reason for anyone to cook at home, we'll do it all for you". If you wish to entertain at home, or are having a party, they will also do outside catering with something to suit everyone. We wish them good luck in their new venture, and look forward to visiting both of their establishments very soon.

(and yes, all the disgusting fast food shitholes are closed :lol: )
 
the stylish lounge-restaurant es rickshaw in santa eulalia (c. san vicente 49 a.k.a. the restaurants street) is open during the winter too offering their fusion cousine :!:

· on wednesdays they have a chill-out combo playing live :eek:

· on fridays and saturdays from midnight to 4am they have dj sessions with chill-out music :eek:

The Magon in Port Des Torrent

Does anyone know if The Magon in Port Des Torrent is still trading.
Went there last in 2001 and had agreat meal again. Will be heading there again next June if it's still open

moskorra in cala de bou, next to and owned by kumharas, is open too :!:

and talking about kumharas, they are doing some reforms at the moment (like space, their terrace is a sea of ruins :lol: ). no news yet if they have sorted their license problems!! :confused:

· amalur in santa gertrudis, the best restaurant on the island for lots of people, reopens tomorrow. open every night!! :p

New Restaurant Open In Sant Antoni.
The Can Vall Es Pir is situated on the ground floor of the Hostel Rosalia (which was previously a games room for the tourists). It has been completely transformed into an extremely tasteful restaurant with local décor and will be offering a wide range of typical Ibicencan dishes and tapas. They also have various "menu del dias" (menu of the day) at great prices. The restaurant is open everyday from 11am until late. A fantastic place to enjoy local food, and to top it all the staff speak perfect English.

Stephan's is an exciting new restaurant that you must visit on the harbour promenade in San Antonio. It's location was formerly Bel Sito's. Stephan is offering an extensive menu of international & Mediterranean Cuisine. The décor is absolutely exquisite & extremely tasteful & has interesting personal eating areas for private or special intimate moments. There are also larger eating areas to cater for business functions or large parties. From the terrace there is a breathtaking view of the entire bay of San Antonio. From the 28th March there is an Art Exhibition throughout the summer by Severine Mizeret being held on the premises starting at 20.00 hours.

Did you mean old cook or The Old Cock Pub. If the latter no. But was intending finding it. Is it any good. Can't find much info on it. Would welcome any.
