European Festivals

Boomtown lineup is one of the most bizarre I've ever seen.

Kneecap for some Gaza rap, Scissor Sisters for those who don't feel like dancing. Shaggy for those who are guilty but pleading not guilty. Then over to the other stages to ask How Much Is The Fish? while wearing Baggy Trousers 😀

words cannot express how horrific that looks (much as I’ve loved Madness forever). The money must’ve been amazing for Floating Points to associate himself with that carnival of sin

Prodigy at Wythenshawe park next year, defo on that

KEINEMUSIK back at Finsbury Park next summer after last year's disarster at Gunnersbury. Apparently 1 member light though. Will tickets be 1/3 cheaper?

Went to Laurent Garnier last night in the new Polaris venue in Le Châble. It was great, he built it up in the first few hours playing all sorts of crazy remix’s and crazy music. Then it went up a few notches. But never for very long. He kept bringing it up and down with beautiful tracks. He’s a master at work. Older crowd in there for him. I’m sure the other nights had more youth. Polaris do a great job, Good sound system, not to loud but loud enough. The kinetic light system from Berlin is very cool. All these LED discs above your head on pulley systems. And the biggest thing was the capacity was respected. Welcome to Switzerland. So room to dance, room to change location. Which is probably the biggest relief when you just want to enjoy the music!
I think he’s probably my personal favourite, not to be missed if he’s playing close to you.

"It's one for the books" Laurent Garnier.
Always a voyage, when he hits the decks and he loves Polaris.
Thanks to Mirko Loko, the mastermind behind it.
Le Châble is the perfect venue, second year there.
