Erick Morillo

I still stand with my experience.
This article from 2017 really says nothing. It says false accusations are 'rare' but that's based on UK police statistic and they just mentioned it's roughly the same in the EU? False accusations or 'regret cases' are hard to prove. They will still be in the system as unsolved rape or other crime or unknown. The person that made the accusation will never admit it to be false so it will always be unclear. So you can't really count on there statistics.

Anyway...like I said earlier, I shouldn't have mentioned the false accusations or 'regret cases' because a few pages back it looked very clear that the Morillo case was clear...

However it seems now like some people might think the story has some flaws.

And about the fact that he apparently liked to lick boobs in the dj booth or was touchy or wanted naked girls at the afterparty might not paint a pretty picture of him while being accused of rape but does not make him a rapist yet. And I still feel the suicide is not a confession.
If we're still talking about consenting adults that partied with him or did things in the dj booth...I must admit I've seen more hardcore stuff at some parties but that was all with consent so no-one bothered. The Ida Engberg story is bad though. No one should ever force another human to take drugs. Perhaps all these stories and the image of him people had made him feel there was no way out with the trial coming up. Doesn't automatically mean the Roger Sanchez girl is telling the truth.

Really curious to see if the truth ever surfaces.

I thought I read some crap in the Jackmaster thread. But Jesus some of the posts here. Those in the industry that witness this behaviour and turn a blind eye are just as complicit.
Lets just hope your wives, daughters, sisters are never victims

These kind of replies (you're not the only one) kind of mirror the Corona virus replies if you're skeptical about the governments reaction to this virus. "Hope you never get the virus, hope your mother doesn't get the virus".

Now have you seen anyone here in this thread saying rape is ok? Or that no is yes? Or that it's okay to cross boundaries of another human being? That consent is not necessary? Not a single person in this thread has said something strange or offensive, we're just discussing this interesting story about ...what now seems to be three dj's very well known to our precious island...And if you're discussing what happens..some topics such as consent or if these stories are true or false need to be addressed. Sometimes I feel people want to show other people that they are "good" so badly, they just twist and turn other people's words as much as needed to say: "Hey look at me, I'm good. I judge people who rape". Well, I do too pal.

It’s called virtue signalling, and it’s so nauseating, I’ve got to switch everything off for a few days.
Had it with Caroline Flack, BLM, and now this.

And all based on what? Pretty much the same news article that’s been recycled over and over.

Fact this.
Rape kit came back positive for his DNA, proves they engaged in some sexual act.

Whether or not it was consensual, only two people will know.

There is defo more to this, don’t know why, it just feels like there’s more to this.

And if the cause of death is suicide, anyone thinks suicide is the easy way out, try killing yourself tonight.

Why deny having sex then ? Surely any sane person knows denying it and then having a test is going to look worse then saying we did but it was consensual. Given the stories that are coming out now from credible sources I can’t believe people are ‘doubting’ this. Very odd behaviour from people that really don’t know either way.

"Assuming that he has no excuses and i fully condemns any kind of abuse and violence"

However I think she could have avoided staying at his house, knowing the kind of person he was, in the nightlife work environment they knew too well what type he was and his behavior towards women, and if such a thing serious and disrespectful happened
i don't think they were even friends, maybe just acquaintances. It was not appropriate to stay overnight even after experiencing sexual proposals. The fairest thing would have been to go in a hotel.

maybe I’m misreading your message but are you victim blaming here ? Proper creepy behaviour.

We aren’t talking about some pervert hanging around parks. We are talking about a global ‘superstar DJ’. The victim obviously took a gig to work with him but I’m not sure it’s her fault because ‘she knew the risk’

Just thinking what was be the right reaction from her after seeing the situation degenerating to prevent this tragedy. However she is a mature woman with a smart mind. Attacks need a defense this applies in everyday life to safeguard us.

If i perceive a menace and i don't feel safe in a situation, simply, i leave.

All I’ve read is he denied the charges. ?‍♂️ Maybe you’ve read something elsewhere, cos all the news articles I’ve readare pretty much identical.

Thanks for the reply and learning me about the term virtue signalling. There's a dutch word for it but it took me some sentences to explain it here.
And yeah more virtue signaling happening in the world right now...and in this thread as we speak ?

Perhaps it’s just people choosing to be decent human beings and believing in the victim without throwing her accusations into doubt? None of the posts I’ve seen on here look like virtue signalling at all - merely a bunch of good people who want to express their utter disdain for such a monstrous crime and call out the people who have made ludicrous and concerning remarks and comments throughout.

Lots of deleted posts this morning ... Is @ElrowLovers a new moderator? #imeanwhatisaid
Haha haven't even read them? I can take a hit..no worries.

For the record, if anyone has been reading my posts properly I hope it's clear that I judge people who rape, sexually assault or force people to do stuff they don't want in any way.
I'm just not convinced of where the truth lies in this case yet based on some press articles and instagram posts. ?‍♂️
If that's a reason for anyone to try to ridicule my posts or others posts or purposely twisting them...than I guess a 'forum' (where discussion is the core element!) is not the right platform for you.

Why do you need to be ‘convinced’ ? Do you really think there is a conspiracy of a large number of stories surfacing now from people who actually knew him but still you have ‘some doubt?’ Even with Morillo changing his story? Despite not having any idea or knowledge?

We have a phrase - no smoke without fire.

There also a phrase - innocent until proven guilty.

I agree that the stories that surfaced do not paint a pretty picture of him...but it doesn't make him a rapist yet.

Well it will never be proven either way because he took the Easy way out rather than face up to it. Possible because he knew there was much of his past that could be used against him or see a bunch of historic cases.

actually, @ElrowLovers , you‘ve complained a few times that you get attacked for your views.

but I'm gonna be honest, how you can laugh (reaction) and thus ridicule the above post, that is beyond me. i truly feel it is disrespectful.
