Erick Morillo

The people who knew most had the most to Lose. It always about the money and decent people can fool themselves. Someone I vaguely know but think is a decent chap, posted a link to a really shitty hit job on the victim. He just doesn't want to believe what's been in plain sight for ages

I was coming at it from the libel angle but there are also as you say the cover ups which protect these slimes. The end result is the same. They get away with it.

Additionally i think the whole industry needs a clean up, starting with not calling events things like 'Rich Bitch' or 'Fck me i'm famous' and stopping treating these people like gods

Yep 10 years now... One life and endless friendships shattered

Yeah, and I can't say I know much about the original incident and allegations, but in my brief dealings with TSCDJ, he was probably the one person I've ever known who I know doesn't lie. Not when it matters anyway. Tells a great story, which might need some licence sometimes, but I'd believe him on anything that matters.

That's exactly why I mentioned the difficult cases that don't stick out like sore thumbs, where people 'just went with it' under the influence of alcohol or drugs and regret the act in the morning.

Again, doesn't seem to apply to Morillo. Still feel very unpleasant that every dj and their mother apparently knew about his behavior but only feel the need to talk about it now.
There is a good chance that people have tried to speak out but have been shut down by a person of financial privilege throwing money at the situation to make the allegations go away

Friends wishing to stay loyal, I get to a certain degree. What I find utterly bizarre is this cult of defending people with status who we've never met. Saw the same thing with Michael Jackson. (Innocent or guilty, the jury is still out) but fans going to absurd lengths to defend who is essentially a stranger. Weird.

Like, does your moment of dancefloor euphoria in '99 really warrant you defending a man you don't know to the hills in light of increasing evidence?

Yep need to read the books. His stories about the Dope Smugglaz, Utah Saints and Home bitd, had me in stitches! ?

I think it's just grief tourism, same as Diana-mourning or the Caroline Flack thing. But it worse when people trying to show how much they care, for whatever little bit of attention that gets them, are excusing rape in the process

To add to this, there's a bit of guilt for men in here. We don't want to admit that mate who always a bit of pain at that the afterparty is how he is. The story Ida Endberg told about Morillo from 2006 didn't sound as if no-one was around and yet no-one said a peep, at the the time. That's the culture that needs to change

This is a disgusting article. Whilst I am 100% about free speach....this needs to be deleted
If its lies 100% but If its true? even chance is very small ,i admit.
