Drugs

I’ve tried to cut it down to a blow out a month in the last couple of years (ok that hasn’t happened last past few weeks!) but i know plenty people who are on it 2 or 3 times weekly and no one batters an eyelid🤷‍♂️

But then it comes down the environment its taken in, people tend to get wired into coke, use alcohol/weed/tobacco to try and level them out and the cycle just continues and more coke is consumed. This guy I know doesnt get into that cycle and prefers more of a chilled high. Another thing you said before about some people getting really arrogant after coke, I think the arrogance was there already, just the coke brought it out of them.
 
He's very much the exception rather than the norm with coke. You may be right on the arrogance, but I've seen pretty mild and sweet people show a very nasty side of themselves after even just a bit.... and many don't think they are becoming arrogant. Thing is the comedown is so fast after a line it begs the question why bother at all. There's really nothing chilled about what coke does to most people, and it wears off so fast I can't see the point in hitting a downer for one short 20 minute upper ! If you've spent your life dabbling in substances and hit your 70s there may already be a limit to how excited you can get - must have nothing better to do with his pension :lol:

There's an element of luck involved. I know enough people now who have checked out in their early 50s - smoking, drinking, sun exposure responsible. I don't know enough regular coke users but I would assume it increases your chances by a fair bit too.

There is no doubt stimulants put pressure on someones heart. Sometimes the body lets us know when enoughs enough. Guy in York stopped all stimulants after having a heart attack, I did get told, when he went for it, he really when for it (make of that what you will) he just smokes weed in a pipe and has a drink occasionally now. Guess people tend to go through phases in their lives, just some phases last longer then others a guess hahaha
 
A good mate of mine likes a line or ten when he’s on the piss.

Sometimes by about 9 o’clock he is already a couple of lines in lol, if not more.

I still find it quite shocking, but I think it’s became the norm for a lot of people in the UK.

He also carries a couple of viagras around with him so he can do the ‘no pants dance’ if he gets lucky 🤦‍♂️😄

I just sip my pint and think to myself fcuking hell mate, your poor heart will be going like the clappers.

The Covid lockdown has probably extended his life by a few years lol.

Need a fair bit of money to sustain that sort of lifestyle. I have a mate who is into making money, but has no real trappings of the lifestyle of a rich person. Must spend a fair bit on pricey cola (~£80+ a g stuff) tho! Not sure if he's still been doing it cheekily during lockdown.

Yeah it hits the wallet!

I often used to hear him saying how much he’d spent over a weekend 😬
 
Its never mega appealed to me having lines in the toliet, although think there making it harder now, in some places with slopping stuff in the cubicles, to try and stop people doing lines off it.

Went on a stag do long while ago in Benidorm, one of the lads was into getting some sniff, preferred my pills personally. We didn't in the end, cause I just thought, we'd end up spending half the night in the toliet doing lines.

Yes it is a Ball ache going toilet all the time, I got a sniffer before but couldn't get it up

When I went destino they keept turning the lights off and on in the toilet..I dropped my bag and cudnt find it was so pissed off haha
 
I have a bag of pure in my cupboard since Christmas never touched, I havnet had more than 1 can of beer in 6 months.

We have arranged to get on it at the end of this month as the bars re open and I'm already terrified
