the picture was taken in august. that's when there are 'no customs men on duty as they are all on holiday'. i've already stated, as i read all the newspapers every day too, that there have been lots of seaborne drug busts this year. I'll dig out some of the ones i reported on our news site when i've a bit more time

Yea thank f*** my parents didn't watch the programme last night! I've just booked to go away again in Sept, and if they knew the half of what its like i think their eyes will be opened as to how I can stay awake until 7am on holiday, but why I fall asleep at 11.30pm when I have a drink in the house with my mates lol

so are you dismissing the claim of the boat not catching anything for 2 years?

its funny how the "prestigious" bbc says the boat havent confiscated anything in 2 years and you lot believe it!!

I think the filming was done before August, so the claim of no hauls from that police boat in the previous 2 years could still be correct, if this is from after filming???

no, the big drug bust was hundreds of thousands of ecstasy pills. the biggest in spain's history. not bad for turning a blind eye to drugs eh?

the photo shows 1500 kilos of marijuana.

the italians went to prison.

from personal experience two years running i had neighbours who were dealing drugs.

the first year the boys got 6 or 7 years each and one was famously moved to the worst prison in spain to see out his sentence ( he wrote about it in the daily mirror) and the second lot got 8 years - they had 800 e's hidden in a bag of cheese and onion crisps!

I haven't seen the documentary but:

- I would never got 20 pills on me while taking a plane, even a national flight
- Drugs are allowed by personal use, but not sure the legal amount, I'll try to find out. 20 pills are definitly not considered personal use
- I will be always worried about being catch with something on me, you never know if you will get a small notice or if they would take you to the police station and record your name and that.



And on the other hand, I don't know in other countries, but here in Spain we never have this kind of programs and bad press. I know it's our country, but I can't understand it.
I find verys trange this love-hate relationship between UK and Ibiza

of those 200 persons searched in one afternoon outside bora bora last august (what i mentioned before) 37 of them were caught in possession of small quantities of drugs and administrative offences were made to all of them so be careful..........
