Donald Trump

Its tough to compare countries because there's a lot of external circumstances that can factor in (cultures, geographic population density, etc.) I think the only countries that actually got it right are NZ, Taiwan, and S. Korea.
I agree. But I think with uk and us, the rate would have been roughly the same no matter who was running the country. IMO

You'd think so, but the UK's population density is much higher than the US. Thats probably where the difference in numbers comes from.

they typically (here... in U.S.) go back and forth on environmental policy (I took a class...) when our leadership changes political parties. Unfortunately, (for the sake of "the economy") republican politicians tend to sell the idea that environmental progress will stymie competitive economics. That it puts an "unnecessary" regulatory burden on industry. Thus, they rollback progress for the environment.

At some point academia catches up with them. What we learn in school is that climate science is not on shaky ground or questionable or unvetted or any of those things. It's legitimate and factual. And the electorate becomes thus educated.

I feel like education goes a long way to fix what is wrong. Do your leaders echo what you know in your heart? I hope so.

Trouble is if you look at population density of let say new York state, is nearly double uk. And at almost half the size so it doesn’t really make much difference.

am no fan of biden, but I'm hoping he'll be a step to harris and then ocasio cortez :)

Don't know about Harris. In her law career, she was apparently extremely liberal or someone who locked up loads of young black men, depending on who you listen to.

I guess we'll find out who she really is now.

Trump will try and drag it on for ages. He won't win though - just more embarrassment to him and his family (hopefully their political aspirations will be stopped too).
If trump really thinks there had been wrong doings in the vote counts, he has every right to contest them. It’s happened before but not highlighted as much as now. If he falls on his arse and it’s all legitimate then surely that’s better for the democrats. If there is nothing to hide then they should be encouraging it cos it’s gonna make him look more of a pr ick than He is now.

He absolutely has the right to make sure that votes have been counted correctly. However, bear in mind he has been telling lies about what constitutes a legal vote time-wise. Him and his supporters have also been "stop counting" in one state while "keep counting" in another, depending on whether he's ahead or not. I also don't think he believes half of his own shit - this is more about trying to stir up his fanbase into getting out their guns and asserting that they've won through violence.

To be fair the other side have been using violence to get there own way as well. It works both ways.
Although I would really hope it doesn’t escalate anymore.

Protests in the wake of black people being murdered by the police - a bit different. And it's not like the police haven't been violent towards the protestors.
Won’t get to heavy in this but antifa have been using violence long before the protests of BLM. And We can all make our assumptions on who is pushing that agenda. 2 wrongs don’t make a right though, but it’s not all one sided.

If you believe 'antifa' is actually a thing, rather than a word made up by the right to lump various types of lefties together. Since when was opposing fascism (such as racism and heavy-handed police violence) a bad thing?

Well, stop commiting crimes and its a good chance police won't be getting heavy handed.
