Does anyone else not want kids?

Quite a pattern emerging here … we also have no kids and no regrets (although we did have 3 or 4 failed rounds of IVF in our 30s but quite grateful it failed given the financial pressure of modern life) … we met at 18 and were quite scared about pregnancy and bringing children into a broken world but then warmed up to the idea of a family when my dad died when I was 30 and hence the IVF years which then sort of led to some sort of hedonistic renaissance in our 40s … just about to celebrate 10 years of our first Ibiza trip in our return next weekend

I've been with my very lovely partner for 25 years. It always amazes me the amount of people who question me about us not having a child. It was our own choice not to, but wouldn't be the same for a lot of people
People are also baffled by neither us driving!! The double whammy of no kids and no car blows a lot of peoples minds 🙂

Cars and children, two endless problems you don't have 😂

Me and my partner both always debate it. We always say whilst we aren’t 100 % sure then you can’t have them just yet. Would only ever be just 1 anyway

We quite like the idea of being the fun aunt and uncle or the baby sitter for our friends from time to time lol
I love being the fun Aunt. Being the one to buy the best (and usually noisiest) presents. Winding the kids up in to a frenzy, plying them with sweets .. Then handing them back to the parents to deal with the fall out 😂

first of all sorry for my bad english 🙈

We have a 7-year-old son and knew quickly after the birth that we did not want any more children. Since then we have been attacked because we only have one child. Siblings are good for the child’s development. only children are selfish 🙄

I love him more than anything and enjoy the beautiful moments with him. But there are also stressful moments with anger, worries, fears and tears.

Every decision whether for a child or against is the right decision.

Next year we will take him to Ibiza for the first time and are looking forward to showing him the beautiful island.
If he doesn't like it, in the future we'll leave him with his grandma and go alone 😈Like every year

I’m 43, I Wanted kids for Years and it never Happened, lost my Dad in 2010 and went into a Hole. My Best Friend having a Boy and asking me to be his Godfather pulled me out of that hole and I’ll always be so grateful. Spent the next 8 Years seeing that little man every week and being a massive part of his life to this day

After that the want for my own kids kinda disappeared as I was getting older. Then I met my mrs in 2018 and she had 2 Boys. Nearly 7 Years on they are 14 and 16 and it’s great. Took them to Ibiza a few months back and the eldest came to Reading for a Day last Weekend. They are great kids and they have a proper relationship with their dad so it all works. Me and the mrs still live life to the full and it’s Ibiza again on the 22nd for us

I was always in the camp of "if it happens, great! If it doesn't, it is not the end of the world"

We had our daughter 8 weeks ago and can safely say it's the greatest things to happen to me.

Yes it's a big change but something I'm glad we decided to do.

I'm still being allowed a bit of freedom .... get to see Moby on Wednesday 😊
