DC10 - even more bad news ! !

circo loco has been going 10 years, hence the 10 year anniversary cd!!

it was a freebie until 2001 when it was 2000 pesetas, about £8 then!!

as sarah said, DT, tongo, all the tribal massive would all just turn up and play in the sunshine.........absolutely no roof/mesh, anything to speak of whatsoever.

dc10 has been around as a venue much longer than 1998 though i think.

No it's not, and one-off parties of any club are always a pale imitation cos they don't have the time to build a "unique community of like-minded people" around the event as it were. what I was trying to suggest in my earlier post was that maybe they would want to make a plan B and look for a permanent location in a big Mediterranean city where there's less hassle.

I have some but only in hard copy so I need a scanner to upload them :? Imagine no roof, no stoopid windows, the proper feeling of dancing alfresco......plus they had the bestest bit inside (where the VIP bit is now :roll:) full of big comfy cushions and mats to roll around on - oh and a football table that used to keep me entertained til they'd open the terrace at 9am :lol:

circo loco died when charlie chester stopped promoting...

Ive been coming to dc10 since 2001 when the terrace was smaller and there was no roof and to be honest it was better back then...

The music was progressive and imagine when the top tunes were dpped back then... Finally, im so crazy and hccr's tania... Those were the days... days before minimal...

I remember danny tenaglia dropping by, playing for free... Even pete tong had done his homework and playd an ok set...

In fact everrythingabout ibiza was better 6-10 years ago... sadly...

I couldnt have put it better. That blatently fake "Crazy" attitude was the worst thing about it... "Look at us nutcases in DC10, arent we craaaaaaazy"

****ing pathetic is the only way to describe it, its those skinny jean wearing shoreditch wannabee's that created that aswell.

Im glad its gone, it'll mean alot less K munching idiots.

Going on last years experience you must be referring to a minority. I spent the full afternoon/evening at DC10 last year and all I could spot were people around me having an amazing time in an electric atmosphere and who were there for the music. I couldn't see 1 pair of 'wonky' legs in sight. At the end of the day Circoloco @ DC10 is what you make of it and if you do bump into any 'k munching idiots' it is possible to ignore them.
