what a nonsense.
if a "foreigner" runs a clubnight at ibiza he maybe should at least
read the local papers in the morning -
because then he would knew what´s going on @ the island

What a funny post on Mixmag. Apparently, everyone on this forum are in the pocket of Space & Amnesia. Who'd have thought!? :lol:
 
Can't believe the blog post, and the comment underneath, so misguided I don't know whether to be afraid or just laugh. Just reinforces my view of Mixmag - well past it's sell by date!
 
I posted a little rant too... although looking back at the Spotlight proper article on the closure there is more ambiguity than here in the forums.
 
And back to the point, does anyone have new info?

It appears that Circoloco have scheduled their parties as usual in their MySpace...

Up to the closing party on October 13th...

Support from us is a given!

But I will point out that you need to update the news on DC10. And maybe include clubs besides Space, Eden and Amnesia in your weekly club picks ;)
 
problem with myspace is that you never know how up-to-date it is, so i don´t usually use that as a source of info.

hence i use more reliable sources like the Diario de Ibiza (a reputable NEWSpaper) ... or of course, the one and only McRackin ;)
 
ok ... so the latest is that DC10 is definately open for business tomorrow and from then onwards ...

It appears that they were only threatened with closure and nothing has been enforced.

Our apologies to everyone for the mistake ... DC10 is still re-opening now as planned !

Would you say DC10 will complete the season?

October 6th is what I am aiming at.. I will be there from 1/10-7/10

well as far as we know, DC10 have completed their ban now and are free to hold parties as normal from now on.

I wouldn´t dare to predict what happens between now and the end of the season, but let´s hope for everyone who is here or plans to come here, that there are no more closures for the rest of the summer !
 
If you read the myspace of Circo Loco they are pretty much resigned to the fact that this coming couple of months are going to be their last.

Mixmag is a pile of sh1t anyway- only the sheep read it.

They were instrumental in bringing a lot of punters to DC10 through featuring it heavily in their magazine all through 2005 and giving away cover cd's mixed by DC10 residents. Most Ibiza virgins and younger people in Britain never heard of DC10 before Mixmag and suddenly it was 'the next big thing'. Mixmag pushed it into the overground here in the UK...
