:) Yeah, been there loads of times, calo des moro is my favourite bit of San An. I've no problem meeting there, it's just we need to know times really and what the main plan is.

Sorry, should have clarified, when I was on about taxis, I meant it'd be difficult flagging them down from Golden Buddha.

It's easy to get one at Mambos which isn't far to walk, or the main road that leads to the roundabout just behind there
 
PDB people...

I've been looking up possible meet up places from the net and these two could do:- :D

anybody been?

3.) Also thinking of just having the one meet up in San An with everyone else, might be easier...and close to Amnesia too... We can just meet up somewhere to catch a cab together in PDB...

Good/no good? Suggestions? Option 3 has my vote...

Im happy to head over to San An would be nice to get out of Playa and go somewhere new.

I think it would be good to meet at one place rather then two.
 
If me and the miss are still there by then I would certainly be down.

Planning at least 10 days now starting the 5th... doing 20 days would be cool.
 
Despite the fact that we have more people staying in PDB than San An it seems the vibe is running towards having our party in San An.

The three places mentioned so far, all seem really nice and a little more low key and so should give us a bit more space and relatively reasonable prices.

I land on the 12th and I will talk to the managers/owners to see if they are ok with our rowdy group showing up and if they can be persuaded to give us any deals on social lubricant :)

I thought I'd go in this order: Buddha-Tulp-Bay Bar. If one tells me to get lost I'll check out the next one.

Any objections/suggestions?

Rowdy group? :) You must mean some other people, surely...8)

Definitely worth doing the homework on these places for deals though, as long as we can get a solid overall number for you by the 12th.

We've got almost 30 signed up so far and I have a feeling more might show up through word spreading once all of us are on the island and start mentioning it to people who might not be registered or regular Spotlighters.

I'll do a little reconnaissance before I start hassling the bars for deals ;)

Then once it's all nailed down I'll update the thread and probably PM people just so nobody misses out on important info...

I think maybe with these sort of numbers, I fear Tulp may be a bit too small. Still, worth a scout. Even if we don't meet there, I'll be popping in for a cheeky mojito.

My return flight is booked for the 22nd...

I'm in for sure.

With this many, we could probably arrange some deals/drink or entry discounts...

I'll certainly give it a shot :)

But if you mean discounts for Cream entry, then I think you might be more than a tad optimistic. I'm not aware that the bars we discussed have any cover charge anyway...

Not for any closing I would guess... I meant like a drink special or something.

Hell, a group this big could fill one of the smaller bars.

In my rugby days we would pay for a keg upfront on days we hosted the social. Probably a not right in this instance... Is there a declared pre party for cream already?
 
There's probably going to be an official pre-party at one of the bigger bars but no way we're going there to meet up, and it will most likely be in one of the pricy bars too...
