Cream 2017

How much longer will Cream go on for??

Its obviously still popular, last time I went was 2004 and I imagine the music to be very different now days, and not something i would go for

How much longer will Cream go on for??

Its obviously still popular, last time I went was 2004 and I imagine the music to be very different now days, and not something i would go for

why should it disappear?

my first cream was in the same year you went for the last time. then about 3 years later (so, 10 years ago) it was the first time that I heard people saying 'their time is over soon' (it was when trance started losing popularity).

yet we're now heading into ibiza 2017 and cream is still there and still one of the pillars for amnesia. they've obviously managed to keep being a very popular party. when I used to go to cream it was because of the main room, nowadays the party is mostly about the terrace and then of course the diehard trance fans who still religiously go havin' it in the main room which is great.

Cream for me is allways a highlight, in 2016 for me the best party in my vacation! (Main Room) Hope it still runs many years :-)

Thursday night is usually our last night in Ibiza on our trips and it has become a tradition to do Cream. Mainly on the Terrace because it is 'good fun' and a good crowd. I think some nights are getting a bit hit and miss and bookings can be a bit random but overall its a strong brand and I think a lot of people that holiday in Ibiza but don't go clubbing will use it as their 1 night out.

Cream Ibiza is a strange one. It has always sought to change its identity while remaining a fun and friendly night. My first night there was to see Roger Sanchez deliver a 6 hour main room set. The terrace was practically empty with the few people who were in there boozing while sat on the floor. I dont think they have ever really known what to do with the terrace. The only times Ive seen it remotely busy was for Prydz a couple of years back and Fatboy Slim last year but even then it couldnt be described as rammed. The main room evolved into trance mecca and at times it was uncomfortable. I recall one night with PVD, Seb Fontaine and Guy Ornadel where people were literally falling out of the fire escape doors in the main room. In the last few years the main room has evolved again (often with the same djs) into an edm fest and numbers are nothing like they used to be because other nights do it better. I do wonder what the future is for Cream Ibiza. It certainly isnt a trance night anymore (there are exceptions).

the lineups seem to be the same each year with the odd exception..one of fave sets was PVD in 2002, blew the ar*e out of the main room. Also slightly off cream, godskitchen on Tuesday
with Fergie were sublime-think i lost a stone every time i went -major sweat box

I always thought that Ibiza thrives from a broad variety of different music types. The more the merry. Recently a little too much House seems to be on the island. So I am glad that Cream with it's Trance theme (or what's left of it) is still around. Please leave it as it is.
What do you guys think where Fatboy Slim will play this year? The terrace for sure?

I dont like trance anymore but its good ibiza has a variety of different nights and music and not just techno...annoying that all techno is categorized under techno or house techno when its different types of techno

Same lineup every year pretty much, would be good for a bit of variety.

Still its usually a great week on the island

Nice one. Landed PVD and Aly and Fila plus Kearney and Fat Boy.

Had PVD & Aly and Fila first ever trip to Cream and had a blinding night so looking forward to this one

I can do either July 6, 13, or 20. Never done cream, but PVD is hard to pass up. Really depends what Hi and Privilege have in store

What sort of stuff is Eddie halliwell playing these days? Haven't seen him play in about 8 years. I'm there on June 15th can I look forward to some trance or is it mostly EDM
