Last four days the figures of confirmed cases in the UK has stabilised, but that's known cases. But it's a start.
F;2.9k, Sa;2.5k, Su;2.4k (one hour less), Mon;2.6k.

I'm not going loopy or anything, but last night put my Ibiza gladrags on and had a walk down Carrer de la Myhouse to my favourite bar La Lounge and sank a few San Mig's to passer the time away. Service wasn't up to much but the company was good, and the Ibiza sounds over the speakers excellent as always.

If this is after ten days, what's 10 weeks gonna do to me........

spain's latest numbers aren't good :(

last 24hrs saw over 9k new cases and 900 deaths. highest numbers ever in the country.

I think UK figures today will be bad, as the figures we got so far have just been hospital deaths. And obviously people can also die in care homes, home etc etc.

New figures from the Office for National Statistics suggest the death toll is a quarter higher than has been reported until now.

Nearly three quarters of deaths involved those aged 75 and over, with just one death involving a person under the age of 45.

The statistics - which only cover the period up until March 20 - show 210 deaths in England and Wales, where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.

These compare to the 170 deaths reported by NHS England and Public Health Wales over the same period.

The significant timelag, with this data falling some 11 days behind, means officials are braced to see a far higher spike in coming weeks.

The current official death toll for the UK is 1,415. This figure is far more up to date, but only counts deaths which occur in hospitals, whereas the ONS data includes all deaths linked to coronavirus, wherever they occur.

apparently it's a bit normal though for numbers to be worse again after the weekend, delayed stats and such...

I must admit that in the UK we do seem to have our priorities mixed up. We have the government on tv every night saying stay in, save our NHS etc, save lives, this could go on for 6 months (groan). We have drones up picking out dog-walkers, they are putting dye in the blue lagoon to stop one or 2 people going for a swim....police breaking up a few lads playing footy in the park. There's a hotline set up for people to call to grass up their neighbours...it goes on....

But...we are still taking flights from New York & Italy, 20 per day from New York, the tube in London is still open with people packed in like sardines breathing all over each other...

There is no way they will keep us locked down like this for 6 months, unable to see our families, people will start getting frustrated...people will start rebelling and going f*cking mental cooped up at home.
