We have a hotel booked for the start of July, its non refundable.. I know the chances are slim be good to go by then I'm just wondering if anyone has any info as to when the hotels or businesses are going to find out when they will be able to run again? Or has there been no say as of yet? Just wanted to get the ball rolling into maybe asking the hotel to change dates to end of sep going into Oct

Yes...if that happens you can try and do a chargeback with your card company

I dont think have decided yet, to be honest I am not sure if Ibiza will be viable in July, as even though things there maybe open not sure when or what the travel ban restrictions will be like....
Maybe best to wait until end of May-start of June and see

Yeah in general we're not around people much. He picks me up every morning and he says if the police stop us we say we live in the same house! minimal risk I guess. I should be grateful I'm able to get on with a somewhat regular life atm! Many cant.
Would think house prices will fall significantly so if you are moving up the ladder in terms of price / size and you keep your job / income you may well be able to afford more than you think ....

We are just buying an apartment BTL, it would probably be best to put it on hold.
The house prices are bound to decrease, the rental market I assume will not be strong because of work situation but the seller is in negative equity and wants to get out. The place was off the market as someone had an offer accepted, vendor had to seek permission from the mortgage company because it was less than he owed, the buyer then said he offered less than agreed with the mortgage company= vendor back to lender, place back on market and we've had offer accepted on the price mortgage company will accept.
Absoult tiny problem compared to what is going on but still unsure what to do. The interest rate will increase to help deal with the financial implications of the coronavirus no doubt

Nearly 20000 case déclared,some dr say maybe 2million in real?quiet scary and make me feel paranoïac if back to supermarket in one week.
We were told to use a new form in order to go out since a few hours, new one include the time u leave ur home
Without certificate ,fine is 135€ if u get checked by police (u can write it on a paper)
I printed 100 forms ( at branch office when we were told to leave immediately , office b4 midday,they got all state of the art big Xerox printers ),the old one,and will add a line with the time on those forms as i dont have anymore ink (didnt realise ink was so expensive,expecially when u can only print 20 pages with a new 35€ double cartridge)
Last time ,when i went out ,on sunday ive noticed homeless/misfits didnt care about this quarantine,seeing 5-6 drinking booze...hard to blame on them n roads were empty around my neighborhood ,good sign that people respect rules
Leaders of my company might be not happy as they have to pay full money income to 10000+ IT people in France stayin home with no working remotely solution ,as long as the quarantine last ? ,for this month kind 2 weeks,maybe 1 month full next month ,but a good lesson for greedy leaders ? as they made billion benefits with Zero money back to employées ?

Same I booked a Villa for one month in June (with my Family), even if the clubs are all closed we don't mind to come, but I am not sure if we can reach the island.
Oh well, health first, my issues are not the most important at the moment, just need to re think about our all schedules and life style actually.

I’m meant to be on a stag do in Benidorm in may, the hotel has just cancelled all rooms until June. Realistically that’s the earliest anything will be back on but even then a big stretch.

Again I don't have a clue about this stuff but... I know the value of my own house will probably be less than what I like, but the property's I'm looking to buy will also be cheaper, so it's swings and round abouts?
