Ok, so your theory is that we have nothing to worry about. But all this closure... I think maybe we run the risk of getting our elders very sick at the very least. That, and there is always the possibility of complications...

No. But you obviously need some kind of help and your questions suggest the help you need is psychological or medical. Beyond that I’m no help to you. But you shouldn’t be using this forum to scare people with hyperbole.

No it’s not. And no I don’t. Read our conversation two weeks ago on this thread. Read the messages I’ve just posted. We are all scared or at least apprehensive. And the mortality rate for over 50s is frightening. Stop scaring people due to your own anxiety or trolling. Go get help if it’s the former as you have more deep seated issues.

The only help I needed was in finding out more about pneumonia vaccines as they pertain to covid19. Thank you for your concern though...

That’s ok. Maybe you should have made that clear in the first place rather than post a diatribe of utter nonsense that you know most people won’t understand and will scare others. This is an ibiza forum, not a medical forum where the vast majority of highly educated people will not be familiar with the words you are posting. Go get help. Whatever help that is. I’m out. Good luck surviving like the rest of us.

I'm concerned that you've misplaced your energy.

I didn't mean to bother you, but my contribution is just as valid as yours. We must be very cautious and extremely hygienic. If we gather in large groups and pay no attention to the warnings we will spread the disease. That's not a scare tactic, it's reality. We share in it.

I would advise anyone to wash their hands after they sneeze or blow their nose. It's not hard, but it might not be second nature. And I don't think it's a medical forum, but we are discussing something in the realm of medicine.

I thought that the vaccine for pneumonia would be an effective tool in our efforts to stay among the living! I was wrong and I admitted that. I didn't think that it was a vaccine for covid 19 (coronavirus) mind you, I thought it would prevent the pneumonia that coronavirus causes. But I found out that's not the case; the covid 19 pneumonia isn't the same kind.

Anyway, again... Sorry to have misled. I am not overly anxious, but I am very aware that colleges are closed and events are cancelled; sports and music alike. So, doesn't it follow that nightclubs should also be closed?

I don't know if anybody owns a club, but if so I would urge them to consider a closure to prevent further spread. And as I said previously, they really ought to consider closing Ibiza for travel if they can! I don't know how many cases are on the island, but my heart goes out to Ibizan people who don't deserve to get sick so that the tourism can continue.

My workplace will no doubt shut eventually, but mine is the sort of role where I will be expected to continue working from home. I expect things will slow down a bit though. There's actually a lot of stuff I need to learn to do my job better, so might get the chance to get stuck into that. ?
