Cocoon - We need some magic!!

Beside Joris Voor at august 27th who is going to be this "Special Guest" headliner ????

It seems to be a tough season for Cocoon this year...The loss of Carola and Hawtin associated with the very good new parties in the white island are worrying me out...
too many dates are still open...

Heroes...we need some very good news to make this summer go into the magic...

Loco Dice, Maya Jane Coles, Chris Liebling, Carl Craig, Ricardo Villalobos, the Martinez Brothers, Dubfire... no concerns about the support there as far as I'm concerned.

I think it's refreshing to see Hawtin & Carola spread their wings. If this ushers in a breath of fresh air for Cocoon, then great!

I've only been once, last year, and loved it, but a lot of people I spoke to, some of whom have been going for years, have said it's grown stale in recent years. A few of my friends even vowed not to return after last summer.

wanted to see one of either dubfire or hawtin while i was over, and looks like i'll get both!
 
Cocoon will be hosting Gary Beck to, surely one of the best British producers of techno at the minute? I am over with the kids while Beck and Vath take the main room and been given a pass by the Mrs for the party 8) Can't believe Leibing plays at Space the next night with Cox ffs what a double nighter that would of been! Gonna be a tough one to call which one I actually go to seing as I can't do both :(

I did mention it it the other night over a few beers and got a "glance" that did not look like a woman about to give me two passes in a row :cry::lol: With any luck we will meet another couple who havent been clubbing but want to go with someone and I can steal the male for the space night using him as an excuse :spank:

Cocoon is definitely on the way back up. Okay last couple of years were shocking if you've ever been before then but line up wise it's good this year, what else you got on a Monday night??

Just go on a 48 hour bender and dont go home in between...say you got kidnapped or something when you finally make it back :)
 
in all the years going over to ibiza, this is defo the best year to date for dj's id like to see spread over the 7 days ... im there for 10 days from 2nd July and im not sure how im going to fund this bender :D

a cheeky wee 20euro into eden for pornographic whilst there to see Gary Beck is ticked off for sure...dont like eden but i agree that Beck is becoming one of the guys to defo go see on the techno scene right now

You'll get in for free before 1, Got wristbands for this last year. Coming up on my tenth trip to Ibiza and I've only been to Eden once and never been to Es paradis :lol:

Lol snap I've been every year for the past 13 years and only been to Eden once never been to Es paradis, it dissapoints me too! I was hoping there'd be a free night at es P so I could pop my head in and have a look. As for Eden the pornographic line ups are willing me to go back but I dunno like could I should I go to Eden :/
 
The mondoloco lineups were pretty good last year too. Always wanted to go es paradis but the nights were pretty poor. Apparently Eden has had a makeover and isn't that bad. The time I went was in 2006 - my mate dragged me to judgement sundays. Not my cup of tea at all :lol: can remember sitting on the beach after it waiting for dc 10 to open at 8am...
 
I seen big coxy at timewarp this year and his sound wasn't a miles away from the sounds in the main room at cocoon. Plus big coxy was one of the first I seen at cocoon a good few years ago
