i have a long history of booking Ibiza then arriving on the island between Space Sunday stellar line-ups and getting bang average on my night

sven never plays the penultimate cocoon of the season. because of the late closing in october it just happens this season that he is not there on the last september date.
 
Don’t care what anyone says...those line ups are no way stronger than previous years and not sure if it’s me but has Sven missed so many dates in the past!?

Maybe they're not stronger in terms of the number of artists on each line-up, but Pacha equates to a significantly smaller venue than Amnesia. And when you take into comparison the reduced price, you are arguably getting more for your buck this time around.

Give me Sven and DJ Koze or Gerd Janson or Mano Le Tough each playing 3+ hours than an overloaded line-up any day of the week.

At first glance I thought they the lineups weren't as strong as previous years but giving it a look i think it is pretty standard Cocoon and will work well at Pacha. As others have stated there are less artists due to the size of Pacha versus Amnesia and a different template being used with shorter lineups which provides less options in terms of the case where you make not be a fan of the 1 other dj playing with Sven for example which can be a turnoff to some. July dates seem to be the strongest to me in terms of on paper lineups and then of course Sept 5 with Mano looks to be real good as well.

Not sure if Cocoon will happen for me this year and that’s depressing to me.
 
July the 4th and 18th in room 2 are the pick of the bunch for me :)
 
Much the same lineups as recent years if you take out the amnesia main room.
But imo thats good because to me the lineups are great, I go to see Sven, I'd actually rather a Sven all night long date so the rest of the lineup doesn't really concern me too much anyway

You’ll probably get 4 hours of each of them. Can’t think of anything more perfect. And Sven will probably open that night. Nothing better than walking in early when the club is slowly filling up and Sven is playing. Says something about him, that he’s one of the few DJs of his league that can do this.
 
Some great line ups here. DJ Koze, Peggy Gou and Gerd Janson are the stand out guests to my mind.I don’t wanna wish the summer away but I’ll see you at the closing! ;) Although that seems like a looong way off right now!
 
Basically a Sven + 1 night- not really complaining because I have the Koze and KiNK dates.

Cocoon was like 40 or 50 last year but 25 on glist before 130 AM entry. 30 EUR is still great considering how it's Pacha.

Not seeing a lot of Kraviz and Ricardo...I'm thinking we'll see more of Ricardo at Pyramid? Where will Kraviz be...she only has like 2 Afterlife dates I think and no way she's not on the island more

Yeh im usually disappointed in some shape or form when line ups come out and i just miss certain dj's or parties but this one hurt alot more due to the fact i changed my holiday to week later at the last minute :mad:
Still gonna have a great time regardless so F**K it.

Some good news has come from it and that is im now booking another 4 or 5 days in Oct purely for Cocoon and Afterlife closing :lol:. Shrewd you could say...
