Cocoon @ PACHA discussion

Boom, we are in Ibiza for 28 June to 5 July, so that is Dixon, Black coffee, Solomon, Ricardo Villalobos and sext troler. Plus dystopia, ants and guy gerber at Destino.
 
Was really really hoping for Ricardo, troxler and Richards last week of July since the last two years they've been playing around that time but alas it didn't happen.

Still will be fun with KiNK and Shonky and Koze and Cassy the week after, 4 peeps i haven't seen live yet.

How long do you guys think KiNK will perform?

That last week in June is really strong across the board IMO. Only trade i would do in the case would be 27 June to 4 July as I like that Cocoon for last week of June versus first week of July.

If Kink is live which I think he has done for Cocoon a lot, not very long, probably just the standard hour. Side note though, Cassy is great especially for an all night set, I think you'll def enjoy her.
 
I got Ricardo,Craig Richards and Seth with I’m really happy with even though I’m seeing them all at cocoon in the park the week after I don’t mind as I’m a huge fan of Villalobos and Richards.

No Sven which really is a shame but that just gives me and excuse to take another trip out later in the year to see him ;)

I think the line ups are great solid every week not really a weak one in my opinion.

What can you expect to hear from a Cocoon Ricardo set? When ive seen him hes gone off in strange directions and played tracks that really arent my bag, like hip hop gangster lyrics

I’ve never seen him at Cocoon so I’m Unsure on what he has played to be honest. Thing is with Ricardo is he can move in so many different directions throughout a set you really never know what is coming next which for me personally makes his sets interesting and exciting. From Minimal to house From Techno to Depeche mode you just never know.

I totally get why he his not everyone’s bag and he can be inconsistent but can’t deny his style is very individual.
 
Oh don’t get me wrong I absolutely love him!! His sea at fabric have been some of the best sets I’ve ever witnessed but he can also so alittle TOO weird on occasion:confused:o_O

Very curious to see how he will shit Pacha

He really is majority of the time I have seen him he has been absolutely battered.

Wicked for first 15mn :cool: last year & then boring to hell :D
 
Very interested to see how things pan out from an afters perspective after tonight. Pacha have Tox which I know Solomun has used a few times in the past and seems to be able to start straight after the club without issue. Then there are other venues like the Kave or private villa parties.

Cocoon have always led the way with afters, particularly after the opening and closing so I am very interested to see what is going on. I land at 09:40AM tomorrow so depending on accessibility this could be my first port of call :lol:
