yes, what a party last night! both rooms comfortably busy and both headliners on top of their game.
best I've heard of luciano in years, he actually played tracks again and not 30minute long loops. also not a techno set but a wonderfully housey journey with lots of memorable tunes, some classics in as well. that's what amnesia terrace is made for.
main room intense as ever, I just love that floor.
never heard scuba before by the way and he was fantastic!

That's 2 x people ive seen gushing about Luciano in the past week.
The other was an acquaintance who saw him at Paradise, somebody who knows their beans too. Can anybody else comment?

And as for Scuba - he is very underrated. I don't think he is a fashionable DJ. Would like to see more of him at Cocoon.

Funny that this is a bit on a consensus it seems on the boards. I think he has gotten pretty popular over here in the states. I caught him mid May at a warehouse party and he absolutely blew the lid off as I've almost always seen him do. Definitely at the top of his game.

I always feel like that his label is more well known then he is. Sounds like a quality night - going in September with Luciano and Villalobos on the terrace and beyer in the main room - so similar night.

Thats a nice one, Tini is class too, except for Sven missing of course. I'll be there for Beyer's lone terrace appearance but honestly I've not enjoyed him much over the last year but Papa in the main room is what ive been wanting to see for a few years so I dont believe I'll be catching any Terrace action except for maybe a quick stop for some Recondite live.
 
Both Carl Craig and Luciano were great. Carl played Sweet Dreams, the original track and had spoken word over some tracks by keeping on the dream theme and playing the Martin Luther King " I have a dream speech" too.

Luciano was pretty good, he got away from using endless loops and played an actual set lol. Really structured well. My first time seeing him live too
 
read an interview with scuba a year ago where he said that he hated his appearances in ibiza, didn't like the clubbers and the vibe. guess he likes cocoon better, but we all do ;)
 
Picture from Terrace last Monday/Tuesday morning at 6:30 ish. It looks darker than it was but you can see the sunlight starting to fill the terrace. Music stopped at 7 or thereabouts...

Not heard much at all about afters this year are they being very private with what's going on?
Desperate for a big one on closing :spank:
 
so far there was only the one after cocoon opening party. they wanted to do another one two weeks ago I think but, believe it or not, they couldn't find a free and suitable villa to do it.

main after hours season is only starting now though. june is mostly rather quiet in terms of afters (with the exception of the afters after the opening parties)
 
ah - next tuesday is at cova santa. just spotted this on cova santa facebook. not a 'proper' afterhours though, but rather from 4pm onwards
 
FYI I'm back in London and Ricardo had to cancel at Fabric Love Box due to a "severe illness". May have some impact this Monday maybe?
