Clubs officially opening after the COVID19 pandemic

Meh only the ziggo dome on the Thursday looks travel worthy(sunday at gashouder looks ok) and even then the timing is awful being at f***ing 2pm.

Being stuck in there for the duration and not being able to bounce around sucks. 75 percent capacity is also a kill joy. Giving this a miss

Also to add that I once went to the 'DJ awards' years ago there (which was EDM, EDM and more EDM) and with your ticket you could stand on the pitch or sit in the seats, which cut capacity as they can't have the full capacity all surge on the pitch, so it felt a bit sparse even during those normal times. Sure they'll have thought of something different for the Covid rules but It's a big stadium to fill!

Also...the Ziggo dome is a weird place for techno parties. It's great for concerts but for a rave...weird choice.
 
Mixed bag at WHP for me sadly. It's a great venue, big dingy space with lots of bars (prices were high but expected that) and good location near Picaddily station.

But the big vibe killer was 6pm last entry and they played a trick where the bigger name artists where on an hour later than previously advertised, so Peggy Gou wasn't on until midnight and Carl Cox 1:30am. This just killed the atmosphere for hours as a lot where sat down or stood in the smoking area. 7pm-10pm felt like an age for me. Ended up watching most of Peggy's set and felt tired and went.

also seemed a lack of merch, wasn't asked once which has never happened at a rave before, but Britain is out of stock of a lot of goods right now!
 
It’s a sneaky move - and actually they were still letting people in at 8pm I believe. Flip side is it’s such a big venue you’d rather have people in earlier rather than queueing to get in at 10pm and still quiet inside

I agree with having a last entry as like you say you don't want everyone just turning up for the headliner. But 8pm would be fairer for a 1/1:30am headliner.

I arrived about 5:30 as remembered it took ages to get in at their old Victoria Warehouse, will push my luck and go later if I go there again

As much as you often get a fiver off nowadays for an early entry, I’d definitely pay an extra tenner to have a later one
 
Fabric was a great night mind against all night long....

Had to be in there by 1am so left about 12:15 absolutely steaming! Got a taxi there and the taxi had a go at me for closing his door too hard haha

Then finally at fabric queue was huge and I had priority ticket,

They don't mess about there! Scan your passport, check for lateral flow and a quick search, this time hid my stash in a better place!

When I first got in took me a while to get settled, still steaming and was knackered, and I was in far too early, I don't not normally go out that early to a club

Mind against wasn't great at the start and them two hours in they were great and didn't leave the dance floor

Most people were nice and friendly and met some cool people on the dance floor and some dodgy people, one guy asked if I was an escort! Cheeky bastard, I told him how offended I was and he scuttled off!

Left at 7am and now exhausted and chill day!

Good to be clubbing again! I really appreciate it so much more now
