Hard to imagine him clean :eek: - but can't have done his abilities anything but good I suppose. No doubt house with a dash of cheese - for the girlies to sing along to. To be fair they did used to play a few decent tracks in amongst the West End hit parade, a la

 
I see a lot of DJ's and only 2 weeks ago I saw Blocko do a 1.5 hour set, he had them eating out of his hands, he still has it and technically better than most.

His been clean for many years

Doesn't mind a photo either
 
Say what you like about Brandon Block & Alex P but they know how to work a crowd, get an atmosphere going & create a brilliant party atmosphere.

They get involved with the crowd unlike a lot of modern DJs who, when you see them, are lucky if they give the crowd the odd glance every half hour.

We go clubbing to have a good time & party & these guys recognise that & get right in amongst it
 
I saw on Brandon's Facebook that he works at the Bethlem Hospital in Bromley and also Works for SLAM both helping people with addiction
 
Yeah it was a good move from him after he was caught up in that documentary about drugs in ibiza years ago..wrong place wrong time kinda thing..but very blocko all the same.hats off to him for getting and staying clean. His book is a good read too..

Alex P DJ'd at weddings ??? ...OMG shock horror, the Alex P who ruled Space Terrace, dropped beats in Amnesia, a 7 year residency on Kiss and has played from Vegas to Thailand and is still hugely popular today from Promised Land to Up Ya Ronson ..... What a liberty !!

Technically he must be crap as well, bloody wedding DJ's !!

Still desperate for an online spar I see :lol:. The wedding DJ reference related to comments about his ability to engage with a crowd rather than anything to do with music or mixing btw. Look, I'm entitled to a tongue-in-cheek eyebrow-raise at these two and the reactions they manage to muster as party-starters - I could take them in (occasional) small doses in the 'good old days' likely would still but got very tired of them seemingly cropping up everywhere back then. Sorry to the (ever emotive) fanzine :lol:.

His book was superb.

From starting out highly hilarious reading about his early party life, then getting very dark when his addictions took over nearly costing him his life.

Brilliant read
