Clockwork Orange 2016

It's currently MILF central here

Yup it really was ! Nassau was a cracking party, great atmosphere took me back a few years ...... few of the young'uns didn't seem to understand how so many people were actually smiling relaxed and dancing enjoying themselves instead of working on their disco pout

:-D this is exactly what's happened the last two years that Clockwork has been back on the island but it's still a f***ing amazing night!
Two years ago they played 'tall & handsome' 5 times!! You would think the DJs may have a chat beforehand to make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen?

they don't give a shit. rave dinosaurs playing cheese to tourists.

contrast with DJ Harvey who passionately CARES about his music and punters and spends days programming his sets

You do write some stupid crap on here but this quote is by far your best, it even beats your Space Nightclub should ask me who I want to see at their club babble and that was a cracker

Yes I was there Diver, had a great time and it was an amazing atmosphere, love day time raving, I even went to the after party which was good, packed but quite a small venue. Mixture of young and old I felt, everyone had a smile on their face and singing their hearts out, I will be back again next year.

I had to leave at 530 to catch a flight, gutted I didnt see it through till darkness. The energy in there is amazing and its one of the closest things to raving of old.

No throbbers (except for the obligatory skinhead off his nut and spilling his drink everywhere, saying sorry to someone every 20 seconds)
No one stood still
Everyone smiling
Quality classics
Very beautiful "older" ladies of all shapes and sizes

I was disappointed with it this year to be honest, I didn't like the venue, I thought Es Paradis suited it far more and the music wasn't as good (there *was* plenty of cheese and repetition - Michael Jackson for start!), Last year I was blown away by it and the London parties have all been great, it just didn't work for me this year in Sankey's.

Can't comment on Sankeys but Nassau was fine. It's the Sunday party that has the most relevance now imo

...yeah, well this idiot had it in his head that it was Monday and therefore wouldn't be able to go, it was only when it was too late on Sunday did I realise my mistake and was kicking myself!!

In Es Paradis the sound went off 3 times, it was boiling hot and the terrace is rubbishy, it needs investment, even Hed Kandi moved away.

Sankeys isn't my fave venue at all but the Void system, air con and terrace was spot on, I don't know of any cheesy house track and I was there when Clatta dropped that MJ track, the crowd really respond to it.

Best one yet all round especially the Sunday, even Mambo on Monday was good, the owner said ( and a few others ) they haven't seen Mambo rock like that for a long time, Bysie done a 3.5 hour set

Tis true about the sound system, aircon, and Es Paradis being a bit tired, but you're not going to persuade me about the MJ track, it was awful, along with some of the other stuff, but horses for courses as they say. I only wish I'd made it to the beach do...grrr!

Must admit I bailed on Sankeys (and Mambo) - Nassau for me was what it was all about.

Was the closest atmosphere in terms of crowd, vibe and daytime beach party to how things used to be and you just can't beat a good beach club bash round there dancing barefoot on a box ! Plenty of quality groovy classics and very little cheese for the time I was there.

Didn't arrive until gone 6pm after dragging myself off a sunbathing rock near Babylon Beach lazing away one of the tastiest lunches I've ever had in Ibiza and going 3 times round the bend looking for a parking space in South PDB ! But danced pretty much solidly for 3 1/2 hours apart from one 2-track foray into old rave which I used to grab another beer. Had a local meetup arranged so skidaddled after 10 but had a really great time and wasn't disappointed at all. I do like Tall Paul - he was playing a really nice set.

The VAST majority were savvy seasoned Ibiza veterans of the "right" kind all getting their groove on. Couldn't ask for a better crowd really.

There were a tiny outnumbered handful of throbbers who looked (and clearly felt) very out of place. Most notably 4 20-something London lads in best 'preme and NMD stood around struggling with some cordyline fronds looking Ketamined out, dabbing away every now & again and crowding in for a wiggle every so often. But you're going to get the odd one or two anywhere you go !

Oh you again. My comment was a reference to those heritage djs listed in the left column of that flyer. the gakked traincrashes in London i've heard by at least 2 of those names didn't fill me with confidence. But hey maybe they're totally on the pulse this season, in which case I retract...
