didn't know he spun but he had a big track or two this summer...
it was just overpacked and totally not the dc10-vibe altought this was on the terrace. Don't know at the other room(s). But the music was great.
Arrived quite late, because at the ushuaia hotel was a smashing after party from cadenza vagabundos which lasted till 17.00 (started at around 08.30 in front of our room).
But what an aggresive atmosphere! Not amusant. According to me people were aggressive because it was way too packed. Amnesia was full but still ok, dc10 was just over- and overcrowded.
On the other hand, the after party at sands was great! a lot of people but plenty of space to dance and everybody was happy and smiling.

There were aggressive parts of the night... but did you stay until the end?
I see so many posts on this thread where people talk about how bad it was (which I agree... there were some packed/ aggressive parts for a few hours in the middle) but none of these people stayed until the end... where it was amazing!!

I think a lot of people couldn't be bothered to put up with the aggressive parts to get to the end - just not worth the aggro - better parties to go to another time without the grief factor and unpleasantness in the middle. Certainly security fired up a lot of aggression with what they were doing (never been so disrespectfully treated by any security anywhere in the world in nearly 20 years of clubbing - that's a fact). This bound to carry through inside - I was not the only one who felt aggrieved, I'm sure.
One gets to the stage where it's no longer a case of I will find a way of enjoying myself, it's I've paid a shed load of money, am now being treated like a piece of sh!t by people getting off on aggression and I frankly don't want to be around nonsense like this, however good the choonz might get later or how the atmosphere may or may not change as the night progresses ! A great shame but one to relegate to the trash can for me and move on.
agree, i tried till 03.30 went to toilet (with the necessary pushing) and suddenly security ran all over the place, music was shut down. This was the moment I thought: this isn't dc10! normally it's a crazy, fun house with everybody smiling, dancing, dressed up etc. But none of these! instead the opposite: aggresive, there was no place to dance, no vibe, ... I just had it. at midnight it was too overpacked but i gave it a change. The mood was just over for me.
