Car rental Advice

we went with Autos Mari this time. came to around 287€ for the week between 4 (incl full insurance). A real nuisance neither they nor Moto Luis serve the main ferry port but perhaps an issue of space?
 
Yesterday we cancelled the car we had already rented and took out a new contract !

Previously for exactly 14 days 280 Euros, now new with of course all insurances without deductible and pick-up / return directly at the airport, for 192 Euros, that's just under 14 euros a day.... we find totally ok !

We always do it through an agency ( billiger.mietwagen.de ), so there are no discussions with Goldcar about any additional insurance ;-) There's even an information sheet in Spanish for them :-)

... for years, without any problems !

Going to start having a look at this for 2025’s trip this week. Before I do I thought I’d ask in here as we are doing it slightly different to usual this year.

Any recommendations for a 10 day hire, pick up and drop off at the airport. We are landing around 9pm July 30th

And in a near future, the number of rental cars will be limited by the government, you can easily imagine that the prices will go up drastically.

Limiting total number of rentals per company, total on the road, or? Haven't heard of anywhere limiting rental cars.

Thanks for all the recent replies. I have booked with Moto Luis. 500 euro for 10 days, medium sized car. With the airport taxis now not needed I think overall we will save money, but also save in convenience. Last August was challenging with taxis and the water taxi costs us 40 euro. Added the mrs for 35 euro so I also have a dedicated driver 😂
 
We’re going to Es Canar in August for family holiday but looking to explore.

I’ve never drove abroad before but I’m really tempted to hire a car for a couple of days, dunno if Ibiza is the best place to lose my driving abroad virginity 😂

Every time we are there (like 15 times in the last 7 years ), we have hired a car. In my view the island must be explored with a car to reach the most beautiful places . And driving there is so easy . Main Roads are high quality and even dirt roads are authentic and not dangerous at all.

even the parking is not such a big trouble. You will be able to find a spot , maybe not in the most central parts of towns but it is absolutely possible .

You will enjoy it .

It was my first time driving in Ibiza this year. Needn't have worried; it was completely fine and we went all over the island. Don't seem to have the same moronic drivers we get here in the UK for a start.

Look no further than Moto Luis for your car hire as well.
