who is the "smaller venue"????
i was at bora bora last night. no music, but the restaurant was open. there is another bar with funky house just a few metres away but it seemed a bit cheesey and lacked the magic bora bora vibe. Amnesia was shut and cocoon is at privilege for the time being- but thats old news really.
Went to the Mulletover party in the hills yesterday- it replaced DC10- 8am to 8am, circo loco DJs + Ali from Tiefswarz, Phillipe from M.A.N.D.Y and all sorts of other guests. good, slightly messy fun

A little birdie(as macrackin says) just told me:
there is a small possibility that next Saturday 23rd June,Amnesia to make its opening with a People from Ibiza opening party too...if that doesn't happen,Amnesia won't open before 5th July...

The Mulletover party was at a "secret location" up in the hills. Actually, you just had to call the Mulletover hotline to get directions.
The drive up is a bit frightening and you nearly have to climb a mountain from the car park to the party, but it was well worth it. Very good time and great warm-up for Cocoon last night 8)

Amnesia News:
Interesting thing: I saw posters that just went up yesterday for Cocoon's Week 2 party (with Miss Kitten) that show the location as Amnesia. The style of the posters is exactly like the opening party ones that said Privilege.
I'm not entirely sure if they are new or were printed earlier... but if they're new, perhaps Cocoon knows they'll be back in Amnesia next week. (and why would you put them up if the party won't be at Amnesia??)

I also received an email yesterday from Ibiza Voice with the calendar for Superfreq (Wednesdays at DC10). It states that the opening party is July 11.
That would seem to imply that DC10 will be closed for one month, not two months as originally ordered.
Again, seems illogical that they would send out this email yesterday if the date hadn't been confirmed.

indeed, I've seen a few posters showing the next cocoon's party being held at amnesia on the 25th of June...moreover, I can swear I saw one big poster yesterday, on my way back from san antonio, showing the cream opening party at...amnesia on the 21st of june!!! on the other hand, monza's opening party at privilege is already confirmed for tomorrow...so if not amnesia, then it's going to be space, me thinks...

the style is the official Cocoon marketing for this year - for the moved opening they just added the Priivlege logo

Oops... ya... forgot to mention that Cocoon week 2 is June 25th
Cream say they definitely have an alternative venue if Amnesia doesn't work out tomorrow.... but I haven't heard/seen it announced anywhere! Time is short.....
