it means, thar they are gonna close them, starting from jun.8.
Really guys! I don't want to sound snob or careless . But Why you're that concerned?
The way I see it is that we have lost ONE day of clubbing: Monday.![]()
I believe that the purpose of those "fines" might be to stop the "mass" partying that starts on Sunday morning only to end on Tuesday morning (i.e. 48 hrs of non-stop clubbing). Many rumours were in circulation last year that this non-stop partying will have to end!
We can still do it but it doesn't have to be in very well known places such as DC10. You can party in Ibiza for for almost every hour of your stay but allowing everyone to do so is definitely risky and will eventually lead to more casualties, leading to bad publicity. Always keep in mind that many clubbers are barely 18 and that the drugs are getting stronger and the teenagers are experimenting more than ever.
Places like DC10 and amnesia that host the after and after-after parties on Mondays have to be a lot more careful and vigilant than Pacha whose nights start at around 2 AM with people most probably coming from a nearby restaurant or pub. In the carry-ons of Space, the security always catches the "too obvious" along with some more normal looking clubbers.
I believe that the Ibiza clubbing scene has to be more and better regulated in order to prevent it from collapsing (bad publicity can be more harmful than the authorities ruling).

confirmed cream opening will go ahead either at Amnesia or a new venue!![]()
Don't get me wrong joostdc10, Amnesia is certainly (cocoon) not an after party. I only intended to say that it provides a great opportunity for a non stop clubbing over 2 or 3 consecutive days. In fact, I believe that the clubs aren't dangered.....IT"S THE DAY CLUBBING that they want to "minimize".@ Devoted, read your post again and I'm getting very pissed over here. WTF are you saying anyway? It's not about these particular clubs getting closed (as well but still..), it's about our freedom to party wherever and whenever we want and especially in Ibiza where this a haven for a lot of people to express themselves in a way they want to and where nobody cares how or in what form they do it. That's the beauty of this island: you're free to go any way you want and live life the way you want. The fact that a few people can't handle their act is a minor problem and should't interfere with the fact that loads of people are experiencing this 'thing' as a way of life and are (haha) devoted to it. This **** is an attack on a lifestyle in which Ibiza is a landmark. Of course people take advandge of it but that's a minority to be mild. And for you statement that 'we just miss monday': DC10 is a institution for dance music and clubbing and is one of the most special places in the world imo. You can't just turn that away. Not to mention Cocoon...
