More rumour mongering - an influential bloke said on another forum

Where u staying ?? Im in the JET APTS on Bora Bora beach....id imagine a lot of people now will just bring their own tunes down to the beach.... just cant picture whats it gonna be like now without the DJ's.......

We are on the other side of the island, Staying in Ibiza Mar on the bay,
Was gutted as i wanted to be closer to Bora Bora but now all this has kicked off!
My mates bringing about a thousand CD's no exaggeration,
so if it comes to it we will get set up somewhere and get the party started!

if this continues the way it is, we may need a new listing in the forum. there are going to be alternate parties and places. once we know for sure if they are not reopening we need to figure out parties, venues, or alternate palces (caves, beaches, private vilas) where the parites could be. i want to know for sure where to go instead of being lost on Monday Morning and Thur night!

A radical group of native Liverpudlians are thought to be behind the facts and conspiracies of the closing of three major and influential places in what they call "their island." This group of radicalists believe that it wasn't the hippy's who origionated the island, and started the "Ibiza vibe" but a couple of guru Scousers called Tony and Kev. The source from the inside of this group has told us today that Tony and Kev, kitted up to the max in reebok classics and full shellsuits moved to the island in the late 60's and opened the clubs in the next 20 or so years. It is a common mistake that people think Privilage used to be called KU. The 2 scousers actually named their club LU, which stood for "Liverpudlians Unite", and the name Amnesia came from one of them asking for a "Ham n Cheese" sandwich but with the thick accent was thought to sound like Amnesia. They were the ones who introduced E to Oakie and his pals in the late 80's to spawn the acid house era and todays clubbing culture.
The actual reason for the 3 clubs closing today, is not because there are too many drugs riffling around in them, it's simply because the scousers "don't think they're strong enough these days." By closing the venues, and manipulating the government the group want to go back to the roots and start it all again.

That's what I heard (read) too. Delano is the new place and what's the difference? If you have a beach, a bar and a good soundsystem with the same kind of people the party will rock just as good!!!

But I gotta add: Bora Bora always was and will be a special place because of the amazing things I've experienced there over the years. But now that's it's closed, Delano seems like more than a great substitute!

also hier auf ibiza is es schon bekannt, amnesia wird zu gemacht fuer 1 monat und die cocoon-opening wird nicht abgesagt, da einfach schon zu viele karten verkauft wurden, sondern findet im privilege statt. was aber mit den anderen partys ist, weiss ich nicht sicher.....
Here in Ibiza it is well known that Amnesia will be closed for one month. The Cocoon opening will not be cancelled, simply because too many tickets have already been sold, instead it will take place in Privilege. What happens with the other parties, I am not sure.
Uns von Cocoon ist momentan nichts anderes bekannt, als dass das Amnesia am Samstag ihre Opening haben wird und wir am Montag im Amnesia. Das Amnesia hat gestern mit der Promotion für ihre Opening begonnen. Die letztendliche gerichtliche Entscheidung kommt HEUTE. Dann wird das hier stehen.
Und bis dahin bitte keine Gerüchte in die Welt setzen.
Wir haben natürlich in der Zwischenzeit einige Pläne B entwickelt, aber wir gehen momentan davon aus, dass alles beim alten bleibt. Jawoll !!!

I know exactly what you mean. Stayed in Bossa last year. It was so awesome to have Bora Bora on yer doorstep. Anytime of the day or night you know you could go down there and it would be kicking off!! I will defiently miss it if doesn't open....
