This was a great read (think I've posted about it before):

Haven't read much I'd recommend highly since. I'm half way through 'Deception Point' but it's once you've read one Dan Brown, each one after is more of the same.

time traveller's wife is next on my list i think, agree with you B about dan brown but nevertheless his books don't require too much effort to read and his short chapter style makes them difficult to put down.

clarkson has horrible views imo, but each to their own.

I agree with lots of his views about how our country is going just now, his views on technology etc.

Granted, some of his views I don't agree with at all, but have to admit his book was a very entertaining read
