Well i disagree i think possession of dangerous drugs like heroin and crack should be a crime, should we just let junkies destroy themselves and others with these drugs.

destroy themselves - yes, if thats what happens, you offer them support, offer them the means to remove the monkey from their back but ultimately its their decision and their life

I don't need any attention, I get all the attention and more I need in my life, but I'm glad to see my lifestyle is of such interest to you. And I do happen to know a lot of people on here as close friends so yes they probably do know me very well.

hate his addiction but hopefully he is beating it
Your Babyshambles thread has gone the same way as my Morbyd American politics thread You can't legislate against self-destructive behaviour. There's no law against buying two bottles of scotch and writing oneself off while watching tv and neither should there be.

I may regret typing this but I saw him on Jonathan Ross last summer which I think is a good programme to see what people are genuniely like and I really liked him. And I didnt think I would. I think he is just troubled and obviously no matter what he does the addiction always gets the better of him. Which is not an excuse I know.
But as a "normal" person talking to Jonathan Ross, he was so likeable, really quiet and quite sweet.

I saw that and thought he came across really well too. He's far from perfect and has obviously got a real problem, but I'm not going to believe every story that's written about him in the likes of The Sun and the Mail cos a lot of it is just complete tabloid rubbish.
