All things Ushuaïa & HÏ IBIZA...

Keinemusik at Hï Closing was EPIC! It was absolutely rammed in the main room for the hour before they came on and also for the first hour of their set. Then it started to thin out a bit around 4.30/5.00 - not much, but giving just enough space to dance. I think KM did about 6 hours - all the "hits" but also some great new tunes. The energy in the room was fantastic. Then &Me did about an hour b2b with Alan Dixon (fantastic), before Alan's absolutely brilliant set finished the whole thing off with J-Lo''s Waiting For Tonight around 11.15am. What a night/morning!
Only query is that Hï didn't do much with the lighting - it all felt a bit basic. But after the grandiosity of Afterlife's visuals it actually felt right and stripped back.

First positive report I've seen for this event, glad you enjoyed

Not sure if this is the right thread for this question...

Was Ushuaia Dubai built specifically as a "Ushuaia club"? Or, was it converted from something else, like a temporary space, just for a series of "Ushuaia"-themed shows?

Ushuaia Ibiza's story is interesting to me because it used to be a little sushi bar at the end of the beach. Obviously far different now. I can't help but see its origins because some of the original pieces have been retained.

Temporary space it’s will close next week

Thanks! That's what it looked like from pics.

I think you can transport a night like "Ants", but perhaps a club like Ushuaia is better served as a unique location experience.
