What's going to happen to SPACE after 2016?

Yeah I think the smart money is on that place, but as ever, this is Ibiza and things could change. I stayed there in 2004 and found it a nice enough hotel!
 
To be honest, this was going to be an obvious problem. With Reco Des Sol in middle of a small housing area, it always concerned me how on earth they would get the necessary licences. Seems a few thing to work out yet!

I stayed in RdS. all over the hotel, on every balcony and in all the surrounding residential area the bass of ocean beach could be heard from about 2pm till midnight, every day. it really makes no difference!
but I don't see the current government granting this license ever, space san an can only happen under a PP led goverment in a few years IMO

agreed but then again have a think about where ibiza rocks is located.

Basically S.A. can't stop it thanks to a law approved by the PP on the last minute before they were sacked from the Balearics goverment...

with all the construction in every corner of this small island there is almost no "space far away from any neighbours" left !

I'm not even all against banning new beachclubs or club-hotels IF the government shows a little more good will and cooperation towards the EXISTING nightclubs (opening hours) and allows parties at beach clubs once in a while (like once or twice a week).
 
Who are we from our countries to say what should the locals do?
In my country clubs stop there nights at 6 am... And nobody complaints about it...

Google Earth gives me a few ideas...

I don't think the island needs another big hotel/club, but they should allow smaller clubs/beach bars to function imo.
