Worst Place Youve ever Worked at.

I also worked in an old people's home when I was 15. It was generally ok, I worked in the kitchen preparing their meals ok, but I'd still see all the old people whenever they came into the dining room to eat and it was really horrible 8O A lot of them had no control over their bowels/bladders and quite often dinner would be ruined if you know what I mean.

Plus once I was in the kitchen on my own working a late shift (only til 8pm) but it was dark, and this poor old senile man came wandering in and he was lost and started panicking and I had to try and calm him down and find out which room he was in etc etc 8O

I didn't like it there

My daughter's just gone off to her weekend job as Breakfast Assistant at an old folk's place ... she comes home with the most funny stories ! (and we take bets at home each week as to whether someone has died or not that week)

Oops .. have to say, she loves the old folk, but doesnt particularly like having to get up at 7 on a weekend !

The pay is crap too, even for carers .... disgusting really, when you think that these old folk often rely totally on their carers for everything.

I bet barbie, if we all saw that the world would be filled with vegetarians! i would have cried myself to sleep for sure!!! uhh such a sad story!

I don't know, I've hunted before. Although that is sporting and wholesale slaughter is much different than sport.

Ive been working since the age of 14 at various part time jobs to fund me through uni but my worst, by far, was back home when i was eighteen and i swear i have not exaggerated this story at all!
15 minuites away from where i live is a place called Jaywick which is literally a shanty town (a lot of the filming for the film 'Essex boys' is done around there and the place is crawling with dealers and generaly nasty, nasty people) but at the end is a small caravan park where i had a job as a lifeguard and they asked me if i minded doing a bit of bar work so I did. The customers who came to the park thought Jaywick was 'a lovely place' so lord only knows where they came from, my first job at the bar was to use nailvarnish remover to take the best before dates off the juice mixers as they were bought cheap as they'd all gone off 8O
People we served were rude, i got letched on by the gross chav men all night long, there were at least 2 fights a night and had to get the security guards to walk me to my car for the risk of one grabbing me.
The last straw was we had a group of Irish 'travellers' in who started a fight in the bar which escalated into bottles, chairs, people being thrown through windows- we had to lock ourselves in behind the bar and call 999 as they fought it out and they ended up setting light to the sofas and we were taken out from behind the bar by police in riot gear! It was then a decided maybe enough was enough 8O Tower holiday park- a lovely little place if anyone is searching for holiday ideas this year 8O ;)
