oh the shame yesterday :(

first, the italians won with a penalty they got in overtime (which IMO absolutely wasn't a penalty...and i am half-italian!) - bad luck for the aussies.

Definitly they are 8)
And most of them playing in La Liga ;)

i like La Liga, i have to admit. My mam always has it on and follows Barca and Real. So I have no choice but to watch it anyways hehe.

I do think it could be Argentinas cup this year.

Is there an argentinian then? I like argentinians and their accent

no it was football question, about one of the songs of the argentina fans. bambon answered it:D

I really felt for the Aussie's last night, at the end of the day, I've seen them given for less, but I didn't think it was a penalty either. Yet another incidence of bad refereeing which throws further weight behind the argument for a 5th official with a video monitor to help on contentious decisions.

As for Switzerland vs Ukraine, I can't recall ever watching a more boring game, even in Scotland. What a bad way for Switzerland to go out. Im sorry but their penalties were gash, not unlucky. 93 minutes before an offside flag was raised says a lot about the forward play.

no no, that pictures still not quite right....................

..........put a massive dildo on lucas neill's head and that should do it;)

I feel sorry for the Aussies, but at the same time I still think that technically it was a penalty. The defender shouldnt have gone to ground and given the the italian the chance to dive.

As for the Swiss game they both didnt derserve to get through, too negative, sorry Nostrum, but thats how I saw it. I think the Swiss tried a bit harder, and maybe they deserved the slightly better luck. Cant believed they missed so many penalties! :(

As I said earlier, I love the sportsmanship displayed by Australia in every game they get involved in. Too bad, they lost to the Italians. I wish the game would have gone to overtime as I thought that the Australians would have worn out the Italians, but that is wishful thinking. The Swiss losing to the Ukranians… that must have been a ding to the Swiss ego.:spank:
