i have radio 5 on when ITV have games on.

constant advertising their own crap - their website, competitions, F1...

plus clive wotshisface is annoying
 
i mean its fair enough to talk about england team news etc. since its relevant to most watching but i think the english punters aren't done any favours by the constant reminders of "40 years of hurt".

i was in the company of english in san an on saturday and they were noticeably embarrased by some of their countrymen's behaviour in and around the west end, people pissing in doorways, lairy drunk chanting etc.

its no wonder the english fans get a bad name abroad
 
We watched it in a pub in Covent Garden. Really good day with a great atmosphere. But after the football sinister groups of youths supposedly calling themselves England supporters were hanging around the streets in London causing trouble. One group of lads pushed over a guy on his pedalo carriage thing (you know the bike-taxis in London) then ran off. They give the rest of us Brits a bad name. It's no wonder most foreign people hate British Tourists!

Well, the midfield did well, especially in the first half.

But the defense was suspect and the attack was absolutely shockingly toothless.

I don't think 3-0 reflected the game but the Czechs definitely deserved to win :evil:

Bring on the Italians... no choice but to go for a win on Friday...
 
Czechs looked like the best side in the tournament until now, not sure if thats because they actually were, or because USA made them look like it. We'll need to see other match-ups.

Italy were decent, but Ghana shouldve had at least one penalty too I think.

Come on TOGO!!! (Still hate S Korea after they robbed us in the last world cup :evil: )
