Drove towards Santa Agnes today and a bunch of roads closed? Was very confused haha! How far are we into the almond blossom season? Have I missed it all.

I did a Sant Antoni, Santa Agnes, Sant Mateu, Sant Miquel, Santa Gertrudis route this week and nothing to do with previous years at this time of the year. Here's why:

We encountered road closures around there too, due to Carnival processions.
Saw the most almond blossom as we have all year but still lots not out. This was by Las Dalias today.

no one (or let's say hardly anyone) knew that chapel until the forest fire made it visible a few years ago. and yeah, it's a nice walk to do before sunset!

Ah! I did wonder why I hadn’t spotted the chapel until recently.
We did the steep ascent up by the sewage works (wouldn’t fancy that in summer!) but the longer, winding walk down, past the pet memorials / graves.
Such stunning views and very tranquil.

Only been up there once since that fire, before that there was always a vase with fresh flowers inside.....
